Okami Delayed

According to various sites, Okami is delayed until April 15, 2008.
Will this be a good or bad thing? Mario Kart Wii is supposed to launch on April 27th, 2008.

Toys 'R Us has it listed for April 27th, 2008.
I was going to reserve it yesterday along with the 2 new Pokemon Mystery Dungeons and Wii Fit.

Nintendo hasn't announced anything yet but Toys 'R Us has it listed for April 27th. I think Best Buy also has it listed for that day.
By the way, April 27th is a Sunday.

Speaking of birthdays, I'm hoping that something good will be released in Canada on my birthday. It's on a Thursday which is when many games are released in Canada.

kinda off here, but no matter how much I look, I can't figure this out. What is Okami about? heck, what is Okami? All I know is that there was a game on the DS called Okami with a cool artistic style, which I don't know anything about either.

I know that there's some weird wolf involved.

also, I've seen like 5 seconds of gameplay, and there was that weird wolf with someone riding on his back... it didn't make sense, obviously. xD

Okami is actually the Japanese folk tale of Amaterasu, a godess, in video game form... save that she's not a wolf in the story.The game includes a LOT of gods and goddesses from the Japanese culture, it's really interesting to hear about them on Japanese and know who they are represented by in the video games.

Ultra's right on the money, story-wise.

Gameplay-wise, the game plays like Twilight Princess... except, apparently, it's even better.

The Wii version is a port of the PS2 game.

Capcom has repeatedly pointed out that the wolf incarnation is genderless, but yes, Amaterasu is female.
