One thing I dislike about the Report button.

If you hit the report button, you know you're doing good, and trying to help the staff.
I mean, do you really need a few words on the screen to make you feel better?
Are you that pathetic that you need that?
Let's compare that to other things you see on the screen.
DeviantART - You get a rating for your pictures/poems.
YouTube - You get a rating and a comment about your video.

Usually, there is a "good job!" or a "Nice artwork!". Why not put this on a forum as well?
Because we don't need it.
exactly...
people on youtube and deviant actually make something
you report someone and they are banned, do you really need anything else then to see that the person's actions are taken care of?

How the staff handles a report is not supposed to get it's way back to the members. Face it, it's none of your business about who was banned or warned. The staff checks reports immediately when we log on, and it's very important that anything against the rules gets reported. Of course, you should use common sense when reporting (it is against the rules to abuse the Report CP), but the more issues that are reported, the quicker the staff can take care of it.

Xela, stop being such a moron.
He's a mod, and is actually giving something more to the thread.

Wish I would've replied earlier, but better late than never.

No matter what anyone ever says, the staff very much appreciates reports. Reports make our jobs easier, and keep TBT a good forum.

I apologize that knowing you're doing the right thing isn't enough satisfaction for you. But do know that when you report a post/person/etc. we appreciate it a lot, and the thank you is assumed. Our thank you to you is taking care of the issue you reported, and keeping TBT in tip top shape for you.
