I feel like this is a thread that's probably been done but I'm just wondering what are people's opinions of Sherb?
I used to love the goats in GameCube (Iggy <3) but I've kinda gone off them recently? Not sure why (Iggy would be first on my island if he ever got added in an update though hehe), I think it's since I got rid of Gruff on 3DS to get Gonzo on (so a few years now!)
So on that note, I'm not exactly the biggest fan of Sherb. But I'm wondering what about Sherb do people like? His design? The sleep aesthetic? The fact he's a goat?
(I think any reason is reason enough to like something! You don't even need a particular reason! I'm just interested to see what people make of Sherb, mainly because I do see people split on Raymond, yet I've never seen anyone really say they aren't a fan of Sherb. Not that that means everyone likes Sherb; I just want to see opinion of him in one place!)
I had Sherb on my island a while back and as much as I like the goats, something about him just was...I don't know like I just didn't bond with him!
I don't think he's ugly or anything, he's very cute and I love the goats!! But I don't know if it's Hypno K.K blasting in his house, the talking of bugs all the time, and the fact that he didn't really fit with my other villagers
I love Sherb! He's my birthday buddy, first of all. Second, the colour scheme is adorable. Third, hes lazy and i quite like the lazy personality. Fourth, i love his house and his entire aesthetic!
oh, and i love goat and deer. I'm thinking of going for an all goat/deer island

I was pretty indifferent before having him in my town for a little bit. He’s so cute! I think his facial expressions really adds to his design. Plus I’m a fan of more ‘basic’ looking villagers.
That's where my confusion lies with myself! Blue is my favourite colour, and I love numerous blue villagers (Hornsby, Iggy), so I thought I'd have liked Sherb? (I don't dislike him, I just would never have him on my island)
I like his color palette, but I also really like his sweater. I didn't see the appeal in him much before I met him on a mystery island.
As soon as I saw him I started to like him more, but I didn't ask him to move in because I already have my favorite lazy villager!
Not that I mind these threads, but why are they the new hot topic?
I love Sherb. I was indifferent when I saw his first pictures, but when I saw him myself in-game something just clicked. I think it is the mix of his pastel blue coloring, how his eyes are shaped, the fact that he is a lazy villager, and his dialogue is adorable. My friend saw him and instantly clicked with him too.
He just seems so plain when you first see him, but something just works.
I'm indifferent to him. I've encountered him numerous times on the Nook Miles Islands during my ongoing hunt for my desired Lazy villager (Tucker) and could have adopted him very easily, but he's really middle of the road for me. His design doesn't bother me any, but neither does it make me want to acquire him. He's cute, but...that's about it, and I usually look for more unique designs and/or designs that fit with the themes of the towns or island in my games. I'd say he's on the lower end of the scale for me when it comes to all of the newly introduced New Horizons villagers.
He's adorable. I don't even like the goat villagers all that much, but as soon as I saw Sherb I needed to have him. The music in his house is a bit off-putting to be sure, but he's so cute that I don't mind. The sleepy baby vibe he gives off is just precious.
He's a blue goat who exists who will never be on my island.
I don't dislike him I just... don't care.
Same thing with Audie, I'm not a massive fan. In fact same will all the new and previously popular villagers pretty much.
The only new villager I actively dislike is Raymond because a) I literally cannot go a day without seeing that cat anymore and b) I think it's fair to blame him for nearly single-handedly blowing up the ridiculous NMT prices for villagers in NH
I actually before was aiming to getting Raymond. Seeing how difficult it would be to acquire him I started seeing Sherb around a lot. I thought wow he's so cute. In fact he looks way cuter than Raymond and I decided to start my hunt for him which was so easy.
I love his design and the mix of blue and gray he has going. His hair has to be one of my favorites things about him along with his blushy cheeks and his eyes. Here are some shots of my boy aka b a b y.
I chose "Indifferent", but I do think he's cute. There are just a lot of lazy villagers I'd prefer to him. I actually passed him up on a mystery tour and then ended up getting Tucker as a random move in, which I definitely regretted, lol. If I had invited Sherb I would have enjoyed him for a time, but would have had no problem letting him move when he wanted.
