It feels as though a staggering amount of media and history has been lost from smaller franchises from the late 1990s and early 00s.

I'm just trying to see if a certain item was ever actually released or if the photo is just a prototype that never got produced in the end, but all of the websites from back then are mostly blank, missing most pages, or didn't exist until at least 2005. The company that was said to have released it barely have a website now, let alone back in 2000.

So the closest star to the Sun can only be seen the night sky from Australia, South America, and Antarctica. But the big dipper constellation (one of the most well-known ones) is still a North American constellation.

Sometimes I wonder if your pets understand the concept of names, or if the sound of their own name is like a 'command' you use when you want to call them over. I would think this was the case, but sometimes my dog notices when we're talking about her in conversation. If someone says, "Shadow and Caramel were sleeping on the couch together", she'll perk up as soon as she hears 'Shadow'. Again, maybe she thinks we're calling her over, but she does this even when we're not directly talking to my dog.

My dog's handkerchiefs came in today and they are all awesome. I wasn't sure how they would be. They seem to like them better than collars. Actually Buddy (yellow) got in line for his when I was putting on Snowball's and was excited to wear it. (The only dog I know who actually does that)

I finally got all Slay the Spire achievements on my new old Steam account that I found, so now I can go back to working on my island... :3

Apparently there's been research done with brainwaves and the such to figure this out and it looks like animals and people's brains respond the same way to their name. So they're able to perceive it is their name or someone addressing them and not a sound made.

I have an awful habit of eating like I feed my tomodachi life miis. Sometimes it's one big meal and a bunch of snacks 'cause I'm too lazy to make an actual meal... ^^;
I know that feeling. Sometimes it's very late and I don't want to make a full dinner so I eat a pbnj instead before bed/work.

The current layout is GORGEOUS!
It really is!

I always, since I started playing AC, thought the beehives in Animal crossing looked like horns (the instrument kind, not the animal kind).

@Firesquids , in case you were wondering why I said this during the Mario Party stream, now you know.

Oh I see what you mean,they do look like horns. I think they're supposed to resemble paper wasp nests.

i love how all the teams, including my own, follow a specific animal theme but then there’s just.. “actually, nevermind.” i wonder how someone came up with that lol. i bet someone proposed a name then wanted to delete it, and everyone just ran with it lmao
