If you want to know why this rule exists, there used to be another What’s Bothering You thread. Two actually. The first one wasn’t made by a staff member, but rather a regular user, so there was less moderation. So it was technically allowed, just not recommended. But when some users did express their frustration with other members, or used it to bully other members, it started a lot of drama. After it was closed, a new one was opened, but with staff-imposed rules. And one of them was to not use it to express your annoyance with other members. Of course, people didn’t take it seriously enough as the thread went on, so that one got locked as well. Now they’re threatening to suspend anyone that mentions another member in a negative light, whether they say their name or simply allude to them.
I got a warning point when I mentioned a person that wasn't even part of the website but it was someone in real life that really made me mad. That was the straw that broke the camals back and I had to take a 6 month hiatus because I just couldn't take it anymore.

I noticed that Republicans have been doing a lot more poorly electorally the last two years than they did under Trump, defying the expectations that the party in power loses seats if the president is doing poorly. Although they have or have not learned their lesson about abandoning Trump, overturning Roe really did hurt the party. I knew the Dobbs v Jackson decision would be unpopular among left-wingers. What I didn’t realize is how popular abortion is. I didn’t even realize that they would take this issue this seriously. There are other issues that are more important (like the environment, inflation, national security to name a few), yet they prioritize abortion over that. I wonder why.

But then again, while the Republicans did care about stuff like crime, national security, and the economy, they did nothing to solve the problem and instead used it to criticize Joe Biden. You can’t condemn your opponents for deteriorating an issue you wouldn’t do anything about and then win an election.

Keep hearing about "Alan Wake 2". Don't know what that is, other than maybe some new video game (going to have to look it up later). Also, I've noticed that many baby boomers really, really, REALLY love The Grateful Dead.

Reddit is definitely the weirdest site on the internet. I see people say things there that they should get arrested for. Honestly, it's kinda funny.

If you think Reddit is weird, then I'm curious as to what your thoughts on 4chan may be.

^Yeah, Alan Wake's a video game and a damn good one at that(at least, imo). Didn't know they were working on a sequel but if so, then HELL yeah! Also, Grateful Dead are awesome.

Zoos are absolutely insane. Last time I was at the zoo I was standing next to one of my campers and I was like we are 1 foot away from an ALLIGATOR. How on EARTH am I and a 7 year old a foot away from an alligator right now.

I need to go outside to buy groceries but I'm too lazy to put on nice clothes.... so I just look at my fridge getting emptier and emptier... It's fine there are still enough for a week but there are no more snacks (┬┬﹏┬┬)
