I kept thinking about this old rumor about the unsold E.T. game copies being buried in New Mexico back in the 80's. (Definitely learned that tidbit from old Youtube videos about Atari games and the Video Game Crash of 1983.)

It has never left my mind ever since.

I can't believe I haven't fully listened to Slipknot's "The Subliminal Verses" album until now, especially since it's their most popular album. I've already listened to some of the tracks on TSV (Duality, Opium of the People, Vermilion, and Before I Forget), and I'm pretty excited to see what the other songs are like.

Would had liked to see the Ravens win if only to see how Taylor's fans would react.
it’s not that for me but they were THIS close to going to the superbowl until today. so many unnecessary mess-ups. actually surprised taylor showed up today.

just tore up my bedroom for my drawing tablet stylus' replacement nibs and i could not find them anywhere. those things must have vaporized or something.

edit - as soon as i posted this, they magically appeared in my closet.

They have found them since.

They have found them since.
From what I remember reading they were allowed to dig up the dump area, but had to stop or were told to at a certain point. Maybe for safety reasons. They didn't find as many copies as were told. But they did find a bunch of old retro game stuff.

My flight went by faster than I thought. There was a bit of turbulence, but it didn’t bother me. Overall, I wasn’t nervous about flying at all!

Vegas is also way different than what I’m used to in Michigan. Lots of fancy lights, gambling and people. It’s more fun if I went with friends, but I’ll make do with my dad and do things by myself when he’s in work conferences.

Also, Lions blew a lead. I was very sad.

In my grade, when it comes to my relationships with people, there are people that I’m friends with, people that I just like, but not really friends with, people who happen to be in the same grade as and we never interact, people I would rather not be near, and people I actively hate. If this were on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 meaning we’re friends and 1 meaning I hate them, about 10% of the grade is at a 1, 8% is at a 5, and and everyone else is somewhere between 2 and 4. But sometimes the list changes and there are more people that I actively hate, or there are people that I used to hate that I realize weren’t that bad (usually those are the only changes). Like today, 3 people were just ranked a 1 because they decided intentionally tried to annoy me. I’m just happy there’s no actual bullies at my school, just pricks, because I’ve seen some people on this site that had a way harder time at school than I’m having.

Okay, I think I have it. South Park episodes are supposed to come out on Wednesdays, and based on season 25 and 26’s release schedule, season 27 should start on February 7th or Valentine’s Day.

I was doing some research to these conservative alternatives on Bentkey, part of DailyWire+. I don’t think they’re trying to indoctrinate children into becoming conservatives (maybe some are). I think the purpose is to keep kids away from any cartoon that teaches a liberal message.

When I first read about how Chip Chilla is a conservative alternative to Bluey, I initially thought the conservatives were that paranoid, but if you think about it, Bluey is a very popular preschooler show, and cutting access to Disney+ to kids would bar them from watching Bluey, so they had to come up with a show that’s like it, but on a service that isn’t Disney+.

The moment any cartoon starts teaching kids these alt-right conspiracy theories or defends alt-right stuff is when we should have to worry. But Disney has been indoctrinating kids to be left-winged for years anyway. That’s why conservatives are trying to ban everything Disney in their households.

I feel like I saw a documentary about this on HBO where a bunch of people were standing in front of this “burial site” and excavators were trying to dig up the video games. I think they were in the wrong spot though?? Otherwise it provided some interesting Atari history.
