Also, I think I’ve been noticing the effects of global warming too. Literally last week, the highest temperature for a week could be 30° (Fahrenheit). But right now, it’s 58°. It hasn’t gotten unbearable yet, but it’s a little weird considering it’s not even March yet. I want seasons to pass naturally. Even if I do like summer, I don’t want there to be 75° weather in April.

So I’m one of those consolation prize winners. I’ll probably hold off my purchases for a while. I was going to get a planet wand from Jhine7’s shop as my third wand (I now have a third balloon and third plush), but that’s only after I sell something big. Now that I have more than 5,000 TBT, the new floor to stay above is 5,000 TBT.

I've made more threads in the past three months on this other forum that I also occasionally use than I have done in my entire time here. I guess one reason for that is because the rules over there are a lot more relaxed (never gotten a single warning in all my time there). Despite that, I'll still try to make some threads here when I feel like doing so.

Every time I feel sick or when I have complications after surgery, I feel like I’m stuck in the sick phase forever, like I’m never gonna get out.

I want to add to the mild temperatures thing. I get that a lot of people don't like dealing with freezing cold temperatures, but I can't help feel concerned about the trend of our planet getting hotter and hotter every year. Last year (and the years before) during summer, there were a bunch of forest fires happening around the world. In a way, it impacted from where I live because of the smoke travelling here worsening the air quality.

Like sure, enjoy the mild temperatures, but when summer rolls around, it's gonna be horrible. It's literally 10 degrees Celsius here right now in February, and I could count on both hands on how many snow days we had here in Canada of all places. I wish there's something we could all collectively do to combat this beyond changing our life habits and decreasing our dependency on cars. Like if big companies with their huge factories polluting so much air stop pointing fingers and do their part, that would be nice thanks.

Well I feel horrible now! My sister wanted me to grab a stink bug and put it outside. So I grabbed a paper towel and attempted to nab it w/o killing it...I partially failed. :/

I was remembering a history teacher that I had who was obsessive punishing late students.

As in, she would camp herself by the door and slam it shut the moment the bell rang. So if anybody was even a second late, it meant the only alternative was a visit to the principal office.

I had my previous class all the way on the opposite side of the building. Everything had to go completely perfect or I would be late. On a perfect day, I would only make it with a few seconds to spare. So even for me, who had been a typically very docile and quiet student, ended up being written up a ton of times and sent to detention.

Funny enough, as a young adult, it's habitual for me to be very early for everything. I don't know if this teacher had anything to do with it or if I was going to be this kind of person anyways.

When you’re used to both Nintendo 64 graphics and modern-day graphics, the GameCube graphics become more cringeworthy to look at. Specifically Animal Crossing and Pokémon Colosseum.

The sweetie pies get the wheat, while the devil cakes get the chaff. Just a typical day at the "Fair and Balanced Bakery" 🙂🙃💖💔 meanwhile, I have all the yummy buns I could ever want. Everything else is pennies for the funsies~ but maybe one day we will find the gold within the mold.

As someone who only ever finished Pokemon Y, I had no idea in X Lysandre used the weapin to try to bring immortality to the main characters after he is defeated. I always thought he tried to kill all of them like he did in Y. Like wtf.

Animal Crossing on the Gamecube is a port of the N64 one though. Not even a graphically enhanced one. 🤔
What I find weird is that it took until New Leaf for the graphics to finally get a complete overhaul, then New Horizons came and made it look more realistic.

I for one think the realistic graphics in NH is too much.
