Place your random thoughts.

I saw that the sumo wrestler Takakeisho is retiring. He’s only my age, but sustained a bad neck injury a few years ago.

He’s also an Ozeki, or the second-highest rank. I always thought he would become the next Yokozuna. I can literally picture him doing the dohyo-iri, or ring-entering ceremony.

I’m kind of surprised because most sumo wrestlers retire in their mid-thirties, then become a coach, judge matches, and later own a stable. I think it is the best for his health, though.

I will never understand the thing in most media (usually in any form of animation,). A character calls themself ugly and compare themselves to the pretty popular person in school or whatever. But that character and the popular person looks exactly the same, just different hair color or eye color.
Isn’t that just every single child character model in South Park lol

I can’t wait until solar panels become more powerful or something better comes along. It would make decorating for the holidays a lot easier.

I really wanna learn Brazilian Portuguese but I don't/won't have anyone to practice speaking with, I don't plan on moving there, and I know some of the pronunciation is gonna be difficult for me. Just gonna stick with Spanish for now.

I’m sad that I didn’t get the galaxy cupcake collectible. But since it had the same background as the glow wands, there wouldn’t be room for it in my sidebar. I would probably settle on the snow globe or enchanted bloom if I can have one more animated collectible.

I usually make my bed every day so that it looks nice and my blankets aren't wrinkled when I go to bed at night. but I find that it's best for me to not make my bed when I'm dealing with depression, so that I can lie down at any point if need be. I just have to drape some kind of blanket across the bed to keep dog/cat hair off of the sheet (though thankfully it isn't a huge issue since I wash my bedding once a week anyway, not much time for hair and dander to accumulate).

How the heck can Starbucks charge £11 for a caeser wraps, coffee and crisps!
Next time I'll get a £3.50 members meal deal from the co-op

I'm finding A.I to be more of a nuisance right now.

Having to decipher if images are real, being shown A.I generated answers as the first result in google, products requesting that I try out A.I functions.

I know it's new. Hell, I admit that I had fun messing around with ChatGBT. Although the forceful nature of it has quickly exhausted me. I'm sure at some point it will become more practical.

(the image and voice mimics do worry me though).

I’ve come to the conclusion that Sega is naming the game “Sonic x Shadow Generations” not because it sounds cool or because of what’s happening in the game, but so that if you search up Sonic x Shadow, you’ll find results for the game instead of… the other thing.

Every election season (October 1st to November 30th) during a presidential election year (since 2004), I have done something bad and got in trouble for it, most of the time being on the internet. Some particular examples I wanted to share:
  • In 2008, although my warnings had nothing to do with political discussions on TV.com, I got banned from TV.com four days before the election. However, I was resentful after failing to go a whole month without receiving a warning because of some last-minute warning, so this was expected.
  • In 2012, even before the election, I already got in trouble with another member on LittleBigPlanet Central for not citing my sources when making an anti-Obamacare post (yes, I still support repealing it). But the real trouble came after the election, when I got the election thread locked for continuous off-topic posting. Someone else got mad at me, then I got contacted by a moderator after multiple complaints from other members about my behavior.
This time, I’m going to try hard not to get myself in any trouble on here or on Discord for the next three months. As much as I want to get back at Mollycord and its staff for my wrongful ban, it’s not really worth it, and I could get in even deeper trouble.

^Dang, man! You just can't get a break, can ya? I don't know much of your situations but it wouldn't surprise me if you had been treated unfairly. Some places online and media platforms are just plain unfair. That's why I try to keep my trap shut on such sensitive topics as politics and the possible afterlife.

I was able to get breaks for as long as I don’t discuss these controversial discussions. But yes, the one time I did get in trouble with moderation for simply stating an opinion or my political past was on Mollycord (sorry TBT mods if I kept ranting about other servers). All those other times I got in trouble when discussing politics were for other reasons. A reasonable moderation system will allow you to air your viewpoints for as long as they’re not extreme, hateful, or involving conspiracy theories. But when you start attacking others or going off-topic, you can get in trouble. That’s what got me warnings on this site and other forums. I was being rude to others or derailing threads. It wasn’t just stating my opinions. Mollycord though, you can’t even be a conservative or neutral to their issues.

When it comes to cartoons, I think I enjoy 80's-onwards the most. There are some really great older ones as well but the ones I'm definitely not a fan of are almost anything by Hanna Barbara(w/ exceptions, such as the amazing Swat Kats) and crap like Angel Anaconda and Johnny Test. Really, though...every decade has had its gold and coal.

It's honestly concerning with how many animals are listed as endangered or vulnerable.

On a lighter note. The Arctic Fox population is doing okay.

Looking at Nintendo’s lawsuit against Pocketpair for making Palworld, I can develop some opinion: Those who defend Palworld and criticize Nintendo for overstepping their bounds are the same people who were very outspoken against Game Freak for not including all of the Pokémon in Sword/Shield and beyond. Yes, Palworld looks like a blatant ripoff of Pokémon, but in their defense, Pokémon has made a huge disappointing journey when it made its way onto the Switch. Several even thought it was going downhill when it first made its way to the 3DS.

My point here is if you’re not going to allow any competition to your industry or genre, yet you continue to screw things up with your firm or brand, then you are destroying the industry and/or genre. People aren’t going to buy something made by one industry if the only firm in the industry is having terrible service or poor quality.

I swear, my relationship w/ Nintendo is definitely a "love-hate" one. I love' em for a lot of the awesome franchises they've provided us but can't STAND them whenever they put up a take-down notice for a lot of YT videos providing music from said franchises when they themselves don't even provide a way to enjoy them! Okay, that was wordy, apologies lol! Seriously though!🤦‍♂️

Not sure if anything makes me groan as much as an adult judging somebody over a hobby.

*gasp* "You collect pokemon cards. the stuff for children"???

I'm glad my family usually doesn't act like this. It reeks of insecurity and shows a lack of compassion.

Because I'm also gonna be honest. Seeing someone get hurt when they haven't done anything wrong is soul crushing.

Nintendo and the Pokémon company suing Palworld for the most ridiculous reasons such as the capsules is honestly stupid. Good luck going after the original creators of gashapon (the very thing that Pokémon is heavily inspired by) and Atlus (the developers of Shin Megami Tensei, the original monster catcher that was made years before Pokémon) if we go by their rules.🤣

Honestly, they should've just dish out a Pokémon experience everyone asks for and to let the competition stay healthy if they wanted their audience back. They only have themselves to blame for bringing their franchise to a quality downfall.

Nintendo screwed up big time over the Dexit controversy. Outside of Pokémon, and speaking from a software viewpoint, Nintendo was at their worst when they made Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival. But even making an amiibo cash grab shovelware of a game is insignificant compared to not including all of the Pokémon species in Sword/Shield. If you thought amiibo Festival was one abusive act the Dursleys did to Harry Potter, Dexit is everything Voldemort done wrong. And now we can’t even have our own creature battling games like Pokémon.

The Dexit controversy wasn’t even the only thing wrong with the newer Pokémon games. But it was Nintendo’s worst decision ever (even worse than starting a rivalry with Sony).
