So today the earth has a “second moon”, and my sky is cloudy so I get to miss it.

At school we were given report cards to grade performance, behaviour, etc. Why did pupils not get to rate their teachers? I know some of the pupils wouldn't have taken it seriously, but I had 2 teachers that I did not get on with and whenever you asked one of them a question they went through it quickly and walked away. I don't think people should teach if they can't be patient with pupils!

I dread being told to disable my adblocker.

I'm on a chromebook. It's a very weak computer. If you place ads on the screen it's going to slow down the page or it might even freeze up my screen.

I actually need my adblock to browse the internet.

it bothers me a bit that some people talk about this forum and say "you don't need to announce your departure, you can just come and go whenever you want". while that is true, they usually mean it in response to people who tell the community whether or not they're going on hiatus, as if it's totally unnecessary for them to do that.

I know my friends and acquaintances don't need to say when they're leaving, but I've noticed that sometimes people just leave and I can't help but wonder what happened to them. it's honestly sad. it's nice to see what friends are up to and how they're doing, so when someone says they're going on hiatus they're at least letting their friends know that they need some time, rather than just flat out disappearing.

idk if I'm wording this properly haha, just a random thought I had.

I now have 113 pictures in my avatars folder on my computer 😂 and how many of them will I use again in the future? probably, like, five lol.

This is probably gonna sound hella weird, but I like to go on the r/Presidents subreddit just to see what people are posting there.

I visit that subreddit nearly every day because my mind's like "Gee, I wonder what the users at r/Presidents is posting today!"

Lately, I've been kinda fixated on US Presidents, and I'm curious to learn more about them.

Over 450+ posts in this thread now.

20.8% of my total posts are here.

...I need to get a real journal for my never ending thought stream.

I have weird interests too. Just recently, I want to see a documentary on the Jan 6 Insurrection, even know I already know what they did and how companies responded to the attack (including the punishments towards Trump and his supporters).

so earlier today I cut up a whole sweet onion to add in with my jambalaya before I left for work, and despite washing my hands multiple times and washing my hair after the fact, my hands still smell like onions. and all I can think of is "man, I bet @Shellzilla_515 would be proud of me" hehehe 🧅

I texted with my older brother today. Since my mother fell down and ended up in the Emergency Room.

I mentioned that when I was 9 years old, I fell at a park and broke two bones in my arm simultaneously.

There is 'normal' pain, and there's pain the human body is not ready to experience. Especially as a child. Those broken bones were one of them.

I didn't even go to the hospital immediately. We went back home for the night. I remember the slightest wrong movement of my arm causing extreme agony.

This is literally me with r/Sumo and Wikipedia pages about royals that died centuries ago. I also used to be obsessed with a subreddit where people posted their “pans” or used makeup to show how much they used it. (“Hitting pan” is when you get the hard silver part of the powder makeup pan. They post powder, blush, eyeshadow, but also some fragrances. Stuff like toothpaste and deodorant is banned on there would be kinda gross lol.)
