If there was any Zelda game that would have truly benefited from having voice acting...it's Skyward Sword, with a close contender being Twilight Princess.
A lot of scenes and moments would have been even more impactful and amazing. I would have loved to hear voices for characters like Groose, Zelda, Ghirahim and even Fi... Especially Fi
i know i’ve talked about my hatred for adobe here before but i have to rage a little bit. charging a monthly fee is SOMEWHAT excusable but also charging a $50 fee to cancel it? unacceptable, even though it’s in the contract but still.. how can the average person afford this?
I looked in the mirror as I'm about to shower, and noticed I look incredibly bad with facial hair, lmaoooo. I think I take after my dad in that way. Neither of us look good with facial hair and both of us look better clean-shaven. I know there's a lot of people who can pull it off, but I am not one of them.
We have a doorway that praying mantises like to do thier thing at all the time. So I'm always afraid they are gonna fall on me.
Why there I have no idea. I wish they would pick a tree or shrub instead.
Actually, we have a lot of praying mantises here. When we were trimming trees we found a bunch. They also fly around.
In math someone was explaining Hoenn lore to another person and I really wanted to be involved in their interesting conversation about Pokémon, but instead I had to work on geometric sequences lol.
I’m looking forward to seeing what mushrooms are safe . Also am looking forward to the prices of the collectibles. I wonder if I’ll be able to get a couple different ones . I’d love to be able to get all of these:
The song Peaches from The Super Mario Bros. Movie decided to pop up into my head again after what seems like over a year later. I remember watching it when it first came out with my mother and sister and holding back my laughter as the song played out lol. Now, video games with movie adaptations isn't anything new, but I still find it surreal that the movie exists while also looking absolutely gorgeous.
There is a custom-made Roscoe plush for sale on Etsy (can't share the link 'cause it's considered advertising), and yes, a 24-year old adult male like myself really wants one. It's too bad that it's $150 and I'm trying to control my wasteful spending habits...
I'd categorize the best parts of this game as the early worlds. (Bianco Hills, Ricco Harbor, Gelato Beach).
The levels start to get more difficult and cryptic with Pinna Park. I'd place that stage in the middle.
Then there's the final three: Sirena Beach is horrible. Noki Bay is alright. Pianta Village is a mess. (The infamous 'chuckster' level of relying on NPC's to throw you in the right direction and if it's a pixel off you'll lose a life).
I really don't understand why this level exists. It's very telling of the quality drop.
I remember back in 2015, I didn’t feel ready for the next console after the Wii U because I wanted to see a finished virtual console on the Wii U. Not only did the Wii U become short-lived, but the next console (the Switch) also abandoned the Virtual Console. And when they finally got Nintendo 64 games added, Donkey Kong 64 was omitted from the original collection. It’s been three years since N64 games were added to the NSO, and DK64 was still not on it.
Actually, the Switch isn’t very friendly to retro gamers at all. Despite these Switch ports of GameCube games, look at how bad they handled retro gaming. The N64 app doesn’t have Donkey Kong 64 or Diddy Kong Racing while some other games on the N64 app weren’t emulated correctly, Super Mario 3D All Stars was a limited edition game, all of the Pokémon games were plagued by the Dexit controversy, Zelda and Animal Crossing gotten too progressive (like all tools break, crafting is the main mechanic, and several mainstays were dropped), and they kept N64 controllers too limited in supply while not allowing us to map buttons. While I’ll be tuned for the next Animal Crossing game or an ACNL remake, Nintendo has alienated this apple by not being retro-gamer friendly.
