Place your random thoughts.

This is one of my problems as well. There are a few games I would love to get back into but have no idea where I left off or where to go next. I’m trying to get out of the habit of restarting games since I never get very far in most of them after I restart.

Same here! I was pretty far in Final Fantasy XII. I feel like when I go back to it, I probably should restart; the gameplay takes awhile to get used to too. My memory of what happened could use a refresher as well. In the past, when I restarted games, I never ended up getting far and ended up getting distracted again and dropping it for something. This happens so often 😅

Living with my mom has become detrimental to my mental health, so now I’m with my grandma temporarily until my dad can find a place. My grandma constantly deadnames me, which is sadly a blessing compared to what I had to deal with at my mom’s.

I wish there was a cat game that used the same art style as Usagi Shima or if not a game, an art book 🙂.

I think maybe kinda like this artist; I found them while browsing etsy a couple years ago. Their art is really cute 🙂.

Decided to sign up at thestorygraph. Should be interesting to see what books others have read and are reading.

RIP my old YouTube account.
I don't think there is no way for me to get it back, since I made it without a Google account; back when you could use any email address to make one.

There have been games I was away from for awhile that I had to relearn how to play . Me memory isn’t very good so I usually forget a lot . It’s like when some shows would show you what happened the episode before I need that for what I did last time I played the game. Yea I also get distracted easily and end up dropping it for something else. Then I am playing three games at once and getting no where in any of them.

If I died today, would I want my family to know my passcodes?

Why do I have so many calculators in my house? Five is excessive

Shea butter is the best scent for soap in the world, probably. I wish I could have a never-ending bottle of it

Who decided to make Jingle Bells a Christmas song? I heard this morning on the radio that it was originally a drinking song written by an American guy, Pierrepoint, in 1850-something. How did it become synonymous with Christmas? Do his descendants still get royalties for that, or is there a limit on how long you can collect money from songs?

Most of the residents at the nursing home I work at are baby boomers.

Chances are if we get a new resident, 9 times out of 10, they'll be a baby boomer. There's a sprinkle of residents from the silent and greatest generation and even a few from gen x.

The oldest resident I met at the nursing home was 99. Sadly, she died a few months before turning 100 this year.

There's a saying that 'History is written by the victors'.

Unfortunately, there are people who think this means anything historical is automatically invalidated as false information. It's an annoying view point to come across.

It can lead into absurdity such as Holocaust denial.

All the 2007 babies will be turning 18 next year. By 2027, all the 2000s babies will be adults by now.
So much time has passed. I already know for a fact that everyone born in the 20th century are now past the drinking age. While this year, the last of the Baby Boomers have turned 60. And in 2026, the oldest people who were born after ACNL’s American release will be old enough to join this forum.

Future User: Animal Crossing New Leaf was way past my time. It’s so primitive.
Me: I’ve been playing Animal Crossing since the GameCube Version.

any tea connoisseurs here? 🍵

about a week ago when I was sick, my love was looking out for me, and he asked me if I had any tea. I told him that I didn't, but I could go and buy some green tea from the store. so later in the day I went to the small drug store a few blocks away, and I bought the only box of green tea that they had.

ever since then I've spent almost every night brewing myself a cup of hot green tea, unsweetened. it's so comforting after a long day, and it's actually been helping me relax a bit.

but the thing is, I'm sure that the green tea which I bought isn't exactly the best quality. so I wonder what brand I could buy that's better? I know that Harney & Sons makes great tea, I love their Hot Cinnamon Spice. but I don't quite want to shovel out $14 for a big container of it online. maybe I can find some organic green tea at the supermarket next time I go.
