No. I haven’t played it but I’m pretty sure it does exist in City Folk, but it works differently. There’s a feature where after you unlock Nookington’s, Tom Nook asks you what you want in your shopping experience and the option you pick will cause it to become that upgrade, and every once in a while he’ll ask you again (so there would be four options, and if, for example, you pick good hours, the store becomes Nook ‘N Go since that has the best hours. There would also be an option that would make it stay as Nookington’s). Hopefully that made sense.
