Seconding the Paper Mario series, up until Super Paper Mario, at least. I'd also recommend Super Mario RPG on the SNES if you enjoy PM, as it's basically their spiritual predecessor.

I also enjoy some of the Final Fantasy games and have been playing Octopath Traveler here recently. The pixel art style reminds me a lot of early FF, and it doesn't hurt that Square is involved with it. I enjoy the Mother series and Persona series a lot, too.

• Persona 2/3/4/5 (Persona 1's gameplay is wayyyy too clunky for me. Persona 2's story is really good, and I love Jun. Both deserve remakes and attention from Atlus... My favorite is 5 though.)

I'd love to see a P2 remake! I wasn't able to get very far into it because the gameplay wasn't clicking for me, but I'd like to play it at some point.

If you like South Park... fractured but whole and stick of truth are so fun!!!! It’s inappropriate humor but if you’re a fan of the show I highly reccomend playing those, I had so much fun playing them lol

the mass effect series! i love the series so much and mass effect 2 has been my favorite game of all time ever since i plahed it. the story is sometimes lackluster (especially in the 3rd installment), but the characters make up for it SOOO much! i've heard people say it is a game outshined by its own characters and world, and i agree 100%.

other than that, i really like earthbound. it was my favorite game up until me2, but i still hold it near and dear to me. i also like any of the elder scrolls games and fallout: new vegas

Paper mario (only the first two), Pokemon, Most Final Fantasy games are great but x and VII are standouts, mario and luigi is good. Octopath traveler is a recent favorite, Trails of cold steel is good and Persona series is amazing!

the original paper mario is such a unique game, one of the best rpg's ever made, no doubt! i really liked the sidekick characters in that game =D
