Please stop raining!

5 consecutive days of rain I am up to now, it’s ruining my enjoyment of the game because my islanders are hiding in their houses and I’ve got flowers everywhere which are taking me hours to dig up every day. When will this stop?!

I'm sure because it might be rainy season in NH.
Rainy season in NH is pretty much May and/ or June, or the fact that its just RNG that's making it rain often.
Edit: And it does happen alot to me, my town is also overrun by flowers, since it has been raining too much lately, I just wish flowers don't spread too much in the game.

Summer is rainy season in Japan apparently. Rain from June to mid-July if you do a Google search.

June is the rainy season, though July can have a couple all day rain days.

There is a cheat to stop the rain if you're in dire need. Add a new player character to the island. Doing so will wipe the weather pattern for the day and forces a sunny/clear pattern. Once the weather has been cleared, delete the new player from the island and enjoy.

Conversely, when I started the game it took at least two weeks before I saw rain, then rained once, and then went on a drought for a while until June.

I'd say just enjoy the rain while you have it because I imagine you'll be seeing a whole lot less of it soon.

I can’t tell you when it’ll stop, but hey, at least you can get snails!
For the flowers, put a super small or transparent design around them to block them in

The only problem I have with rain in this game is that it multiplies my flowers, and If I don't clean them up, I can find myself with a few hundred new flowers taking over my town.

For me I wish it would rain every day. I dont mind digging up flowers. Growing hybrids can be a pain so the rain is always a blessing. Plus I just love rainy weather.

It's been raining on my island nearly every single day since I started. It even has thunderstorms at least twice a week. I think I see the sun maybe one day per week for an hour or two. It's been crazy! At first it was great because of the hybrids...now I'm overrun!
