The 1-24th? I went a few times during the event and it was like that. :/ But hopefully Darkrai will be better, I think with Mew they learned their mistake upfront.

Heh. The last forum I frequented also had a dedicated Pokemon thread - but what it didn't have was an entire forum section dedicated to Pokemon.
Sup fellas. I come here from the Minecraft Forums, despite the game having a larger fan-base the forum appears to be very inactive compared to this one. So if you don't mind, I'll just be moving myself and my things into this one for now. Anyways, I wasn't aware that there was a problem with the Mew distribution a few months back. When I went there, I managed to get one for both me and my mother.
Still though, I personally don't really care for the serial code distributions as of late. I miss being able to receive an item over Wi-Fi that would allow me to visit a special area in the game where I could catch the event Pokemon myself. Nowadays, it just feels like a chore... having to work out a schedule that would allow you to get to the nearest GameStop ASAP before they run out of cards.

Yeah true I miss that too, also I hate those ribbons things that makes you not being able to trade it around as you want(unless you hack it).
And yeah I guess it depends on store/country though.
It's their solution to work with companies to get people in to buy merch, so I can understand why it exists. I mean they had to replace the local distribution cartridges with something, serial codes just happened to fill the void. I do enjoy the wi-fi events but I forget about those just as easily though.

At the Sal?n del C?mic de Barcelona festival from May 5th through May 8th, the Shiny Yveltal event will be distributed to all people via a Serial Code. This is the first distribution of this Pok?mon outside of Japan and South Korea. We'll provide more distribution details as they come so keep checking back"

I can confirm it's live in NA, got mine yesterday. Got out this morning & picked up my Darkrai cards from Gamestop.
