Pokémon Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu & Eevee

I'd like to see more about what you do in this game, but the Eevee riding on your head is cute. I'd love to make it a Vaporeon. I also like the pokeball controller, though I fear it will be really expensive like the other Switch controllers. I don't really care about trading with Pokemon Go though. Unless that means they are finally adding trading to that game. If they are, it would make me want to play it again.

I gathered that, however going back to my original statement and actual point, if they are stripping away battles with wild encounters, there's probably going to be many other changes (since they're literally saying it's not a complete remake it's more of a 'spin off'), to me - it looks like a watered down version of the traditional series/gameplay so far

Looks cute, not like anything I'm just dying to play but I'll almost definitely buy it whenever I round up a Switch. I've never tried Pok?mon Go so I wouldn't know what to expect if they're similar like people have said. What's been shown of the gameplay so far honestly looks like something more geared towards a younger audience (I would have loved the Pok?ball controller as a kid :0) so it'd be good to have for my nieces and nephew to play when they visit. Lol

I don't have high hopes for it. Honestly it just looks like it's going to be a failed attempt at reviving Pok?mon Go. Regardless, I'm still going to buy it and play it.

I'm so excited for this. From the looks of the trailer and slight gameplay, it looks like it's pretty much a remaster of red and blue with a few Pokemon Go gimmicks thrown in there. There are battles, but it hasn't been made clear if there will be gym battles/the elite four or not. Either way being able to see which pokemon are in the wild and getting to actually throw the balls makes me excited for it. Plus I really want that Pokeball controller lol

No online, no wild Pokemon battles, and the only way to acquire Pokemon is through Pokemon Go and transferring them. Hard hard pass. The obvious pander to Go players is really offputting. Go players are super toxic, I know Joe Merrick tweets all the time about the dumb ones he's come across. I can't wait for more dumb Go players to stroll into gen 8 and think they know everything. (like they already think they do). If a Go player gets into the franchise bc of LGP/LGE go them, but if the Go players remain ignorant when gen 8 comes out, then yknow lol.

They have online and you can catch Pok?mon in the game, you don’t need Pok?mon GO at all.

This is great news. I can revisit Kanto in HD, just pick up and play without having to decide on a team, breeding, ev training etc. I can’t wait to play. Plus best of all, it’s confirmed I have over a year to complete ultra moon (second “Ultra” play through) and accomplish gen 7 goals lol

This is actually a Pok?mon game I would not plan on purchasing. I played many of the Pok?mon games and found most of them to be addicting, but it seems like the games are getting a lot less fun as we move into the future. My favorite of the older games were Pok?mon Crystal and Pok?mon Emerald. I did hack at the start of Pok?mon Emerald just to obtain a Totodile I could use on my team. I did not hack anything else, other than the ability to capture a wild Totodile. Pok?mon Emerald was one of my favorite games of all time.

Anyway, I started losing interest around the time the Sinnoh region was created. The Sinnoh games seemed like a huge letdown. Pok?mon Diamond was a huge disappointment. I even went on to purchase future games hoping the series would improve, but it never did. The Pok?mon felt forced. We went from having great Pok?mon like Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle to having Pok?mon characters that seemed almost forced and rushed. My favorite Pok?mon region is Johto, and I absolutely loved the Pok?mon in that region. I have noticed the Pok?mon becoming stale after the Sinnoh region. Sinnoh was okay, but after that, the Pok?mon were trash. Literally. There is a trash bag Pok?mon.

I love Pok?mon, and the game will always hold a special place in my heart, but the games are currently headed in the wrong direction.

I never liked the Pokemon Go style so I'll be sitting this one out. It's tough for me though, cause Eevee is my favourite Pokemon of all time and its boxart is SO ADORABLE MY HEART.

Trainer customisation returns, Blue/Gary is not your rival, Pikachu and Eevee are customisable, following Pokemon can be used to find items, Misty confirmed as a Gym Leader and by wording in the trailer, only select larger Pokemon are rideable though I could be wrong

eh I think these games look cute but they also look like they belong on the 3ds. some of the info released today is interesting but ultimately I'm still not convinced to get them. fine with these games existing and they serve a purpose for a lot of people until 2019, but as for me, I see no reason to blow $60 on this and am just gonna wait until the main games come back
