I am starting to think Nintendo will once again troll those user who thrashed Popplio like they did for Oshawott and Froakie. While some Rowlet fans already have made fan art or edits where Rowlet is protecting Popplio from the rude comments. Didn't like Froakie in the beginning, didn't like Greninja in the end. Pretty sure Popplio is going down that same road for me. Its final design prediction is the only one I don't like. Too much circus, too much clown, which are two things that just don't appeal to me at all for whatever reason. I don't "hate" on Popplio, I just personally don't like the design.

I was thinking recently about how much better it could've been if it was a dog instead of a sea lion. It fits better too- bird, cat, dog. Plus I think they could've really made a badass design for it. Though I guess technically we already have Suicune as the water "dog" (even though I've never seen the trio as dogs before despite them being called that), today's generation won't even know who Suicune is lol

Anyways, I just saw this article about what native Hawaiian animals the starters could be based off of, including Popplio.

I do like the idea of the circus theme of the starters.

Hoping that the starters final evolutions will somewhat look like this
 
I don't have a lot against the water type. I think it looks cute. I think they all look cute. I was leaning more toward Litten, but I think I like Popplio more. I'm still not sure, I think I might still chose Litten.
 
Well, I've always been "pick the fire-starter person" so I might and will be choosing Litten.. But! Never have I seen an owl pokemon that is interestingly cute and cuddly. (Sorry, Noctowl) ><. And I don't mind the typing as I can probably manage with something ingame.
 
The prediction sketches can be a little depressing because sometimes they're better than the actual thing. Those look really nice though.

New CoroCoro vidya went up. Nothing much we haven't seen, but if you look closely, you have to ask yourself, "Who's that Pokemon?"

I'm going to get the cat. So no more spoilers for me lol, I wanna be hype when I first got X and Y. The eshop crashes brings back memories. I just hope that its final evolve form isn't weird, like going from four legs to two. Kinda like how snivy had two legs to only get none.
 
I don't know why people love Rowlett so much . He looks like an owl that is suffucating to death lmao . I prefer Litten , because I'm felling that his last evolved form will be the most badss looking out of the three . And Pooplio , he deserves the hate he is getting . His design is awful , plain awful . And the legendaries . The Sun legendary ( We'll call it Solgaleo , and the other Lunaala ) , looks okay . But his fore head seems a little too big for my taste . And too blue . #PrayForSolgaleoForeHead . And Lunaala is MAJESTIC . Still in in-game footage that we have of here , her wings seemed connected from the bottom . But in the box art , they are not . If they are connected , I'll take Sun . If not , i'll go for Moon . Yep , I'm weird , I choose Pokemon versions like that . U mad bro ?
 
I really want to re play several of my Pokwmon games now thanks to the hype surrounding this! I just might have too..
 
I'm feeling the opposite. I had a couple teams planned out to use in XY and ORAS, but now I want to hold off on using them until Sun & Moon. Rowlet would fit in perfectly on one of the teams I had planned. Meanwhile, the other one was an Alpha Sapphire team and I'd rather hold off on that one because the trainer customization in Sun & Moon would fit the character better than the May model.

I'll probably feel the motivation once I figure out different teams to use in the meantime.
 
I'm really curious as to what Popplio will evolve into tbh. I wonder what it's second type will be, assuming it will be a dual-type. It's obvious that Litten will be Fire-Dark and Rowlet is already confirmed to be grass-flying... So what about Popplio...?
