I am choosing litten because it's a kitten and it's a fire type. I am kinda hoping it's going to be fire dark. But whatever it is it's going to be so litten (hahah game freak the puns)

Definitely Litten. He looks mega awesome, wish Litten was a dark type as well as fire though. I picked Fennekin last gen and often I do pick fire type starters, so there definitely is a pattern that i'm following. Poppolio is a close second although he gets a ton of hate LOL. Rowlet just looks a little too plain to me imo.

Kitten definitely. He looks promising and bad ass. Popplio looks like a joke tbh and Rowley is cute but i don't really like grass and flying types.

They're all really cute, but I'm probably gonna go with Litten. Though I might end up changing my mind later on when we happen to get more info on them!!

Based on first impressions, probably Rowlet. I might change my mind after I see the final evos though.

imma go with litten because its the first black fire type pokemon and it looks so badass in its first evolution already! tbh popplio looks like a joke and i dont expect any great moves from rowlet either so litten is the best choice.

Rowlet probably, but I'm also considering Popplio! I know a lot of people hate him so far, but not many people liked Froakie, and then Greninja came along, and it was really Fennekin with the poor evolution (IMO). And Litten... well we have Meowth, Purrloin, Glameow... so I'm not interested him yet, UNLESS HE'S A TIGER!!!!!!

I'll make a decision when their evolutions are released. I wanna see how they all turn out and what typings Litten and Popplio will get.

I don't really see all the rrowlet hype, he isn't cute at all, not to mention the weaknesses that grass/flying has, and generally the starter Pokemon have generally low base stats, and lack good movepools, so I can't see it for rowlet, but litten has potential, based on its design it's fast, and might hit hard as well, popplio is ok, he mediocre, but I can see some potential, but generally like rowlet is basic and has no cool design

I haven't voted yet because I'm really torn between Rowlet and Popplio! I really want Rowlet in my party because I like the fact that it's grass and flying (plus it's super adorable), but at the same time I kinda like Popplio better. There's just something about it that I think is so cute! Like others have mentioned, I'll probably wait to see their evolutions.

I love Rowlet and Popplio so I'll be using them for my sun/moon playthroughs. Litten's design leaves me cold.

Most likely Popplio. I always pick the water starters, since I have a soft spot for them.

With an exception of Gen 2. I love Typhlosion too much.

My roommate claimed Litten when I first showed him the release data, so I told him he gets dibs on the starter if I get dibs on the game.

So I'm going to choose Rowlet and play through Moon with my little owl.

Considering naming it Blathers.

I also never nickname my Pokemon unless by some bizarre turn of events, I have two in my party. So that'd be a stretch for me. Glad it's an idea that's approve of, though!

I'm pretty set on Rowlet, but I'll definitely hold off on my final decision until we see the final evos. The last two generations had me choosing based on the third, despite the fact I loved a first (Tepig and Fennekin's lines let me down hard).
