No, not really. I'm aware of the potential dangers but I don't feel overly bothered by them because the amount of flights that land safely far outweigh those that don't.

I've only flown once in my life (twice I guess if you count the trip back separately), and I had more issues in the airport than on the plane.

Absolutely! My biggest issue is being trapped when you're so high. There's no escape. Going overseas probably won't happen for a long, long time. But I'm willing to overcome my fear with smaller trips to build up.

I’ve only flew a handful of times. Only one time was international but I was so little I don’t remember it. Everywhere else has been stateside. I don’t think I’m necessary scared of flying per se, more so the conditions involved in flying are not desirable. I hate going thru airport, being cramped in the plane, I hate using public bathrooms, the air pressure in the cabin, take off and landing. Other than those, I don’t mind it and can handle flying if the need arises.

It's not the flying I dread but the airports themselves. It's always rushed and never get a chance to chill without the fear of being late for my combining flights. Only thing I dislike about airplanes however is I get stomach pains and headaches on longer (13hours+) flights. I'm an overall flying mess lmao

cars/bus/train/boat engine stalls after you start moving — you stop and wait

plane? plummet and hope you survive D: plus pressurization issues??

I had an emergency landing once (nothing major just fuel issues) and I panicked HARD..
I fly more frequently nowadays so my fear of flying has lessened a bit but it is definitely my most feared mode of transportation and I know it’s irrational :c you’re more likely to die in a car crash than a plane crash but yet the plane scares me more

i used to fly a lot back and forth from ny to cali but i was super little ^^; now im a little more wary of flying but its def not a fear of mine

I don't fly much, living in the UK means trips cross-country can be done quickly in a car, so I only fly when I'm going on holiday. last time I was in a plane was a year ago, but if anything I find it exciting to fly! I even like airports because they're kinda like a novelty to me (Amsterdam airport is the best one, it runs super smoothly and it's really clean). I'm sure if I flew more frequently I'd feel differently though.

I will say that it did get really hot and uncomfortable on one flight I was on, and that was pretty awful since obviously you can't open a window for fresh air. Luckily it was only a short flight.

I don't but I feel like I get labelled as I do. Flying doesn't bother me whatsoever but I get motion sick very easily (cars, planes, etc) and I find on an airplane it's 10x worse...because you're confined to a tiny seat and can't just pull over and get air (like you would for car sickness).
So, my body reacts pretty adversely...the more sick I feel..the more antsy I get...the more antsy..the anxious..the more anxious I start getting break outs from the stress lol.

I'll put up with it if it's a short 2-4 hour thing...but if it's an overseas long flight (last one I took was 24 hours), I'll see my doctor and they usually will give me a better prescription of anti-nausea meds and xanax to help manage lol.

Let's just say, it would take a lot of time and patience to even get me into an airplane. No seriously, I don't like flying and I'm not sure if I will ever try it out. I prefer to stay on the ground for now. :')

This is probably weird but I’m actually more scared of the security/TSA than the actual flight itself tbh. I remember one officer caused me to have an anxiety attack -.-

Ever since a traumatic experience as a kid where the plane took a nosedive for 10k feet in the middle of the Pacific I’ve been terrified of flying.

which is kinda ironic cause I work on airplanes for a living (not when they are flying thankfully, but I might have to at some point ;-; )

I've never been on a plane...
but oh my goodness it sounds TERRIFYING.
Combined with my fear of heights, it won't be pretty the first time I ride a plane if I ever end up on one.

I was 1 when I first got in a plane and I fell asleep during the whole flight from China to Spain so don’t worry😭. I’m also scared of heights but a plane feels safe somehow, it’s also really cool to see the clouds and buildings from there. I also love airports, so many people from so many other countries it’s awesome there 🥺 #PlanesAreGreat

yes. the last time i flew on a plane i cried ,, ( partially my fault for watching dozens of documentaries on plane crashes and their causes)

I've never been on a plane before.
But since I know I have a fear of heights, I will say yes.

Nope. I have a fear of heights, but not a fear of flying. Besides, when I go on an airplane, I usually sleep. My anxiety though is the process of getting on the plane and going through security. For some reason that drains me and makes me so nervous. Additionally, being around too many people, having my baggage lost or stolen “scares” me as well as filthy areas there.

Not entirely. It's more the fear of falling than it is flying. Granted I get anxious about just about everything these days.

i've never flown before, but i can't wait to do so, so i voted no. i don't see myself being very fearful of it unless something crazy were to happen on my first flight

I'm not afraid to fly, but I'm not that fond of it. Maybe if I could afford first class it would be different, but that isn't happening any time soon.
