Someone medical recommended I have a protein bar in my bag. Would you know of any that taste good?

I tried a tangerine zest flavored Luna bar, and that was actually pretty good, but it has more sugar than I should have at the moment.

No idea since I hardly eat them. But stay way from the cookie (dough) ones, they taste and have a texture that is awful.

And yeah check the sugar, some are basically candy.

There was a birthday cake flavored one in the store's clearance section. Awful gooey texture as well.

It's incredible how difficult it can be to find protein bars that aren't a. packed with sugar or b. full of artificial sweeteners like stevia, sucralose, etc. that my system just can't handle. I totally feel your struggle!

These are my personal favorite, and I've tried tons. They only have 5g of sugar per bar, and have a light, crispy, rice krispie treat-type texture to them rather than feeling like a chewy play-dough brick in your mouth. I highly recommend them if you can tolerate whey protein!

I'd recommend Pure Protein bars. They only have around 2-3g of sugar and usually around 20g of protein per bar.

You made those sound delicious and now I definitely want to try one lol. Plus.. you linked to probably the best sounding flavor, peanut butter chocolate. <3

Clif does seem to popular and low in sugar. Luna conveniently had the nutrition facts hidden behind the back flap, with 9 grams of sugar.
