Pumpkins!

If you celebrate Halloween are you planning on carving pumpkins? I didn't do any last year, but I plan on carving 2 this year. I got some stencils I want to try out. I'm not a super experienced pumpkin carver, I typically just make regular Jack O'lantern faces but I want to try something more complex this year. If you do end up carving any definitely post pics in here, would love to see them!

I plan on doing it. I started doing it two years ago to get back into the season. I did a Boo carving and last year I did a really complicated symbol from Phantasy Star Online. It looked alright, but I got too ambitious.

tbh ive never carved a pumpkin so I likely won't this year, but last year I had two smaller ones that I painted in the colors of the rainbow flag and asexual flag, and I also had a regular big pumpkin that would just sit and look pretty.

maybe this year I'll get some small fake pumpkins so they don't rot away a few months later, and paint those in the LGBT+ flag colors as well

I do celebrate Halloween but I haven't carved a pumpkin since I was a kid. I'm really bad at it and the pumpkin guts are so disgusting. I can't stand touching them. Painting pumpkins seems really fun, but unfortunately I'd be just as terrible at that. So I just admire other people's handiwork.

I haven’t carved any pumpkins, so I won’t be carving any this year. However, I like seeing all of the carved pumpkin designs people come up with. There are a lot of creative designs people come up with.

Painting pumpkins seems fun. I lIke the pumpkin with the ace flag colors.

I'm terrible at carving pumpkins so I most likely won't again this year, that job goes to my dad if we do carve one lol. I painted a pumpkin last year so I might do that again, not sure yet.

My country isn't known to have those big orange pumpkins that you see on television so I've never carved a pumpkin in my life. It seems like fun but messy. I'd rather go online and see the pumpkins people carve. I saw a pumpkin carved in the shape of a Weezing one time. Its really cool to see the creativity.

I did a Pusheen one a couple of times. I don't think I have any pics though. I might do one again this year, it was by far my best pumpkin carving attempt, hence why I did it a couple of times haha

I love carving pumpkins but I don't think I will do it this year until it's linked to some forum activities or contests.
There are not much kids in my area for Halloween, they are all going to the next town where there are parades and activities.

I won't be carving pumpkins and probably won't get pumpkins at all this year. But I am considering making some squash pasta sauce or squash porridge to keep up with the festivities.

I use to carve pumpkins all the time in college! I went to school in New England so the fall was a big thing, but now that I live in texas it doesn't feel like fall because its still 90 degrees. Needless to say I will not be carving a pumpkin here, at least not this year haha

i might carve pumpkins this year. my family got some at home depot yesterday, i have no idea what i would carve but i’ll post it here if i do decide to carve.

last year’s pumpkin i tried to carve the acnh jack o lantern (the one on the very top of the stack)

Yes! I also plan to make a regular jack-o-lantern. I find them adorable, and I love eating baked pumpkin seeds. I already got my pumpkin last week. I'm looking forward to carving into it on October 30th!

i’ve actually never carved a pumpkin before, and sadly i don’t see that changing this year as i just don’t have the spirit or energy. i’ll probably just stick to my regular halloween celebrations; watching horror movies, buying lil decorations and knickknacks, eating candy, making art, etc lol.

however, i did buy a lil jack skellington pumpkin from walmart over a week ago, and while he doesn’t count since i didn’t make/decorate him myself and he’s not a real pumpkin, he’s still pretty cool. :’)

I love carving pumpkins! I'm no good at pumpkin art but I've always had a fun time doing it. For the last few years I've been living in apartment buildings which has put me off of carving any pumpkins since I don't have a place to put it. Probably will be the same for this year. When I used to rent a room in a house I would carve a pumpkin (or 2 or 3) every year to put on the front step.

I would love to carve a pumpkin if I wasn't in my last year of college, they probably wouldn't even let me have a pumpkin on campus. ;-;

No, and no. I did carve a pumpkin with Hazel's unibrow face for a TBT event some years ago though, lol(just a surface thing cause it was small and thick pumpkin).
