QUESTION: How do you write your letters to villagers?

I used to write actual letters but now, because I'm trying to get the badges from Phineas, I just type one letter and send it off. They get kind of annoyed though and mention it in their letters back to me, but I don't really care that much tbh.

i tend to write a general welcome when i first get them, after some time, i ask isabelle to get rid of the original letter and write them a more heartfelt one with all the things we've "done" together. when i was going for the badge, i would just write: "thanks, friend." i felt a little bad, but so i would usually send gifts along with those letters.

I do this because sometimes they show you the very first letter you ever sent them and if it's all gibberish then It ruins it for me xD

I just normally write with proper grammar and I just tell them how cool they are. :'D

If I'm sending them clothes or furniture it goes; ''PUT THIS BACK IN YOUR HOUSE'' or ''CHANGE YOUR CLOTHES,'' depending on whatever they've changed to make look horrendous.

Annnnd then there's the hate letters... these usually go ''GET OUT OF MY TOWN EVERYONE HATES YOU,'' etc. and sometimes I send them furniture they hate in it. I don't send letters often though... but if I do... yeah.

I do these too. The orange bland shirts took over my town at one point and it took a week to get them out of it. And I'm working on hate mail plus pitfalls to get rid of Charlise.

I try and send them letters once a day xD I'm trying to get their pictures and I'm hoping that letters count towards them.

Even if you write a bad letter and tell them they smell and should leave town, they come up to you to show it and say they'll treasure it forever because you are good friends.

The majority of the letters I write are about my real life.

Examples:

Dear Zell,
I just paid my iPhone bill. When is AT&T going to lower the cost. I love you.

Dear Rory,
I did not take your advice to exercise -- I decided to play ACNL. I love you.

Dear Egbert,
I thought about you today when I ate at Chick Fil A. I love you.

Dear Punchy,
I made Pancit for dinner. Would you like to come over? I love you.

Dear Tangy,
I thought about you this morning when I drank a glass of orange juice. I love you.
