Question: what was your first AC?

My first was AC for the GameCube. Then, I didn't play another one until I picked up New Leaf in 2017, mainly because I don't follow gaming news and didn't realize the series had continued this long. Glad it did, though. :)

i started with new leaf and as an avid cuteness enthusiast i fell HARD in love with the game. i got really deep into it for about a year (largely thanks to this forum!) and then fizzled out when i had mostly unlocked everything. i pretty much stopped playing altogether because i was afraid of my beloved villagers moving out. i'm really hoping they let you lock them down in this game without having to play every day ;~;

My first Animal Crossing game was Wild World. Me and my then step-sister both got the game and visited eachother's town often, eventually both upgrading to Nookington's. [SUB]I'll say, my town was a mess, weeds everywhere and those red flower-things with flies around them... What was I thinking?[/SUB]

Anyways, while I watched my step-sister play the original Animal Crossing and City Folk, I only joined in again with New Leaf. I don't think I played that one anywhere as much as I played Wild World before it. I hope New Horizons lasts longer for me with its many neat new additions! :D

Wild World, but only because my sister had it and I wanted my own town because it looked cool. Stuck around it far longer than she did. Did so many things except keep my town clean, lol. Even got some gold tools. City Folk (I refuse to call it Let's go to the City) would have been great, had it not been on the Wii (my Dad hogged the TV). New Leaf was too grindy for my taste. Can't wait to get New Horizons on my birthday though, it looks easier to work with than New Leaf, separating out tasks, new currency that you can earn alongside bells, crafting so you can save money or use it to make money. I doubt I'll be burned out by it like New Leaf.

Sorry, long ramble, but I just preferred my original experience. I don't want to just grind, I want to relax, and I felt New Leaf forgot what relaxing was.

population: growing! i was, like, 4 when i played the game : ever since i fell 100% in love with animal crossing. i go back to my gc from time to time to play it, & it's never lost its glimmer for me.

My first Animal Crossing game was Wild World!!
It was a happy time, chatting to all the villagers and such, then I got New Leaf and now I play both :)

my first ac game was wild world!! i was in love with that game for years lmao

Animal Crossing for the Gamecube! So many fond memories from my childhood <3

my first one was New Leaf, for the 3DS! after NL, I started playing WW.

My first "official" one I was old enough for/remember playing on my own was WW, though I played a bit on my brother's GameCube. c:

GameCube! Never owned it but played it a lot at a friend’s, then got Wild World a couple years later and i’ve been obsessed with AC ever since.

Animal Crossing for the Gamecube. I have fond memories of being a wee little lad and getting mad because I didn't know how to send letters so I was mostly stuck in the tutorial phase. I loved it, though.

City folk. My sister had a wii way back when and gave me a copy. I was obsessed

My first was Gamecube. Skipped over Wild World straight to City Folk, which I think is a bit of an unconventional order to play them in.

Wild World. I initially just helped my little cousin play it but I eventually got a copy from one of my older cousins and I can't really remember what happened in it to be honest
I definitely spent all my Bells on making custom designs instead of paying off my loan though and I regret it

City Folk was my first. My brothers and I played it so much it was taken away from us for our own safety. lol When we got it back, we played it for years all the way up until a few years after New Leaf came out. We were beyond attached to the game.

We still play it to this day. Sometimes we go back and watch this guy called Alex and his Let's Play of the series for nostalgia purposes.
