That’s good to know! How likely is it that we’ll actually get new information though?
For people like me who’ve been scouring the depths of the internet for any small detail, I doubt there’ll be too much we haven’t heard yet. I’m expecting a lot of talk about features we’ve known about since the earlier Direct. Could be wrong though, and am definitely curious.
As far as ratings go, I couldn’t really care less. Of all the things hitting us in 2020, this game is one unlikely to cause disappointment ;ェ;

I actually found this forum originally searching for this answer! I doubt they'll spoil anything else, but I just want to get a whole bunch of different opinions on the game and see how they all match up.
I am curios to know what the reviews are, I do think tht there won't be much new I can learn since I have been keeping up with EVERYTHING released.
I feel like this week has been going by the slowest. And once the week starts it's going to fly by. Quarantine is torture but at least we ain't sick.

Hopefully they'll be worthwhile. The translated Famitsu stuff didn't have anything interesting to say at all.
If they're anything like the Famitsu review, then we'll hear nothing new, and know they probably had access to the same PAX East Demo.
That's what I like about metacritic. It saves me the trouble of reading a bunch of reviews. Just make sure you avoid the player reviews, because those are pointless until at least 3/23.
Yeah, my brain is on overload. My district made the call this morning to move all classes to virtual, so I'll be twiddling my thumbs in my classroom watching the seconds tick off the clock, waiting for students to email me with unimportant questions, which at this point is anything unrelated to AC:NH.

Let’s hope they are good. Honestly my hype has been kinda hindered because the world is scary right now, and assurance that this is going to be the greatest game of all time is something I’d like to see
Believing yourself that it's the greatest game of all time is more important than the opinion of others. Everything I've seen so far has me convinced this will be the best AC game in the series; possibly the greatest game I will have ever played.

Even if the rumor ends up being true, I do have Dobie's amiibo card and others here do, too, I'm sure. If it works like it did in New Leaf, if nothing else, I (or someone else) can invite him into my campsite once I get it built and invite you over so you can invite him to move onto your island! I really hope it still works like this, anyway.

He's actually my birthday twin (February 17th), my favorite personality type (cranky--at least he was cranky in New Leaf), and my favorite animal villager species (wolf). I really want him on my island. He might be the only one I invite in using amiibo.
I'll read the reviews or atleast a few, but not for confirmation. I've seen enough to know I'm going to love the experience this game will have to offer. I'll read them as like an appetizer for the main course on the 20th, the actual release of the game.
In a way, I want to read for more information, and then again, I don't, lol.
I think Nintendo held back a lot of information from us and I don't think it was a bad thing at all. I really want to discover everything through playing myself, rather than reading it through a reviewer's perspective.

it's so difficult seeing NEW NH information and refraining myself from reading it, but i'm gonna try. i don't feel very spoiled even with everything we know right now, but with it being so close now i don't think i want to know anything else before it's released.

LOL SAME. i've also been scouring the internet for any form of information i can find out of the game! i don't mind spoilers as they don't ruin any of the experience for me, spoilers just get me more excited lmao!! but regardless, i wonder what kind of new information they might share. i don't ever bother with rating at all bc i've played plenty of games with low/bad rating and i personally loved them. it's all opinion based in the end so it doesn't really matter or count as a fact anyway, just another person's highly critical experience. but anywho!! i hope it's gonna share some highlights we've all been dying to know like..idunno.. villager amounts??

Yeah I was just rethinking what I said earlier, realizing that lots of these people have specifically been holding back info due to the NDAs. I’m sure there’s a few details they’ve been dying to share—villager cap maybe included! I’m much more excited now, and don’t even feel sour about having to get up at 6:30 anymore lol
