Wii? Noooooooooo! Wii??!?!?! What the heck? I was just getting used to "Revolution" and now we gotta' go around callin' it the Wii? Thats stupid. But, I'm probably going to get the system anyway. That little video of the "i" shooting lasers or whatever was pretty cool also. Yeah, now we have to change the names from like: Animal Crossing Revolution to Animal Crossing Wii, and Donkey Kong Revolution to Donkey Kong Wii. That just sounds wierd...

Stupid, pure stupidness, Wii is the stupidest name I've ever heard. Wii wow, that's an awesome name :\, not really :\. That's just idk...very stupid. Wii, wow, there's no videogame in that name. Gamecube, playstation, xbox, nintendo entertainment system, those are videogame names not wii....this is a total disappointment on my part. Also, don't just say that this is awesome because Nintendo announces something (that's what happens evertime they do, mostly). Wii, is not the answer, revolution was a great name.

I'm not fanboy, but I LIKE THE NAME, perhaps because I don't get peer pressure, like all of you do.


It's blatantly obvious in your example quotes and such.

But really, Wii... It's a simple name, yet shows Nintendo's purpose. And no, it's not remotely Japanese, and if it is, then so is "iPod."

Edit - And the games WILL NOT BE CALLED 'insert title here' Wii. Did the Gamecube have "Mario Cube"? No, and the DS and N64 were exceptions.
