Rock, for sure.

I wrote a long essay about this on NSider once, to lazy to find it again. To keep it short:
I consider music to be "rhythm and melody". Rock is made of "rhythm, lyric, and melody". Rap is made of "rhythm and lyric".

By this reasoning, Rap isn't even music.
