"C-come on, let's go," Asuna said, trying to pull away from subject. She pressed her lips together willing herself not to cry.

He didn't feel like walking. He didn't even feel like escaping. After everything that happened, he still had that knife. He looked at it, and thought about plunging it deep into his chest.

Asuna wheeled herself out of the building and looked around. "It's so dark. I can barely see a thing," She whispered.

He ran the blade on his hand. It wasn't dull. If he was going to do this, he would have to do it now.

"A-Aki..?" Asuna nudged him with her arm. "Are you coming..?"

He tucked the knife dep in his belt.
"Y-yeah.. One sec." He grabbed the ladder.

(Omg phew)
"Ok, I'll wait by the gate for you," Asuna said, smiling at Aki. "Love you!" She wheeled away, the inky darkness enveloping her immediately.

He pulled the knife back out, and looked at it. It still had Asuna's blood on it.
He nearly plunged it into his skin when he stopped himself.
No.. After all you've been through.. Your almost out..
A tear rolled down his cheek. He wiped it away and stuck the knife in a wall.
I have been tormented enough. My emotions have been played with. My body has been destroyed. Now I stand and I leave this god forsaken amusement park once and for all.
He picked up the ladder and moved on.

Asuna squinted up at the gate."Sure is high. Wonder if this ladder will even be big enough," She sighed, doubt clouding her mind.
