Story

You wake up in the morning. The first thing you notice is how different everything looks. Color seems more vibrant, somehow. But this is far from the only change. Strange plants are growing outside. And if you turn on the news, some very troubling things are happening around the world. . .

You are a lone, ordinary human. No special powers, no weapons. In a brave new world where the line between "fact" and "fiction" has been irreparably erased, you must find a guardian or a way to arm yourself in a world where the various universes of Super Smash Brothers have just become one with both each other and our own. You need not make a chart. Your personality and wit are what matter here. Your name will surely come up with time.

This is my first RP. I don't want to stifle creativity, so I'll try to be lax. However, please don't make yourself overpowered or derail the story into nonsense.


I'm not entirely sure how to do this, so perhaps it would be for the best if you all just went ahead and started your storylines with no buildup.

Ohhhhh boy, I haven't done an RP in forever! I have so many characters that are just sitting around in my head, dying of boredom because of not being in any RPs XD Hopefully this RP will help me get back into doing it!

You can't dictate this. The user can call it a roleplay if they are posting about events, so in a way weddings are role plays.
You aren't the creator of the rules, and there is no rule to state this, so it's kinda mean to just dig at them.

I suppose. Smasher in this case would presumably have access to the items in their movesets and their canon abilities, and presumably be in a situation more like, say, the first episode of Sonic X before Chris derailed the series?
