it's official

the sun has set before 5:30 PM over here

): hello 6 hours of sun and severe cold temperatures of -26 degrees Celsius.

The sun sets around 4pm here! It's depressing, I much prefer the long days of summer, but I still adore this time of year. Don't worry though, after the 21st it'll start to get a little bit lighter again verrrry slowly. So slowly that you don't even notice but it's a nice thought!

Yup, good old winter. Short days, freezing temperatures. The windchill's supposed to get us feeling like -29C tonight. Yaaaaaayyyy. :/

I'm so excited about driving on icy highways! (but on the other hand, the snow fills the potholes!)

4-5 here, and that's if we get any sun at all. Usually that's just when it gets dark, and it gets dark within minutes.

Where I live it's not really as bad as other places, the sun sets around 8pm in the Summer and around 5:30/6pm in the Winter. I prefer the short Winter days over the long Summer days.

At least I don't live in a place where the sun never comes up in the winter.

The sun sets around 5-5:30 where I live.

Hello cold and hurting bones ugh :(
Oh come on. You live in Nevada. Stop whining. The Canadians here are laughing at you.

I sleep during the day so I don't see much of the sun anyways. So the winter I actually enjoy because it's cold which means I sleep better and it's dark earlier so I don't have to worry about light coming into my fortress as I slumber, which is also good. =D

I haven't seen sun much in a while. I'm in college before it rises and it sets before I go home.

Am I the only one who loves the freezing cold? And I loooove the early sunset, less sun yay :D I don't really like the sun- yay for skin damage and tans >-> It's a relief to not have to walk around everywhere with a parasol and 50000 layers of 50 SPF sunscreen. I also love the cold- the heat makes me tired
