Pokémon Shiny Hunting Experience

Got a shiny milotic (lv 100) and shony kyurem (lv. 50) from wonder trade on my omega ruby game last night.... Play it guys!

Since finding a shiny Aerodactyl on GO on Pok?mon Day and subsequently transferring it to Let's GO, I've now also caught a shiny Diglett (now a Dugtrio, also now on Let's GO), a shiny Aipom, and most importantly, a shiny Ho-Oh! So glad that Pok?mon Home was only announced a couple of days later, I can't wait to send it over to my Switch when Sword & Shield are released.

Since the above post though, I've caught 2 shiny Slakoth (one is now a Slaking), an Anorith (now Armaldo), a Horsea (now a Seadra on Let's Go, Eevee), a Duskull (now Dusclops) and a Makuhita, all on Pok?mon GO. Hopefully it won't be too long before I get that scripted shiny Eevee too.

I haven't shiny hunted on Omega Ruby recently since I've been obsessed with Tomodachi Life, Super Mario Maker 2, and Twilight Princess all summer, but soon I'm gonna continue my search for a shiny Kyurem. I'll probably do it on my pink 3ds so that I can still play Tomodachi Life (thank god for twi 3ds consoles lol).

This happened literally 10 minutes before my 3DS hinge gave out. I want to go on and shiny hunt for shiny Regice, but I might wait and see if I can fix my 3DS first. But yeah, super hyped for this find!!

Have been shiny hunting again! The past two days I was lucky enough to find a shiny Foongus and shiny Murkrow while horde hunting on Y. Up next Im going to try for a shiny Gligar again.

The most I aim for is getting a good nature that matches with the moves I plan to teach my pokemon. I might even breed for egg moves, but heck to the no am I going insane on trying to catch a shiny for all my faves. xc and then not using it because it's nature sucs

I find them by chance, walking enough times, but I've never caught a shiny that doesn't end up being stored in my pc.

My only Shiny experience was on the Ralts Community Day. I was at a theme park in line for a ride, so I played Pokemon Go while waiting. A Shiny Ralts popped up, and my brother was incredibly jealous when he found out.

My favorite Shiny memory, though, was with my brother. He caught a Pikachu, and he thought something was interesting about it but couldn't figure out what, and it took me (who at the time didn't know too much about Pokemon) to point out that it was Shiny...

I hate using the circle pad for the Masuda Method. I’m trying to get a shiny Rowlet right now for my 4th Alola play through. I’m at about 800 eggs and my thumb is in actual pain. I hope complaining on here will bring luck my way.

After a long hunt (about 20 hours of playtime) I got my shiny Rowlet

I was also trying to breed a female Zorua (not shiny) so I can teach it the egg move Extrasensory but ended up with a shiny male without that move on my 8th egg :/

I was hunting for a shiny Rhyhorn in Let's Go Eevee today, but ended up finding a shiny Snorlax instead. It was a pleasant surprise and I named him Gummy, which was my girlfriend's name suggestion.

So for a bit, I've been shiny breeding for a Shiny Hoppip, just got it today!!
I hope it isn't too big for everyone. My first shiny bred pokemon though! I'd say I did about 4 boxes of normal Hoppip before hatching this one.
And since it's evolution is a beautiful pink colour, probably gonna name it similar to cherry blossoms or something.

I haven't played Pokemon in a long time, but one of the most ridiculous experiences I had was when I caught a shiny Magikarp in Firered. Impressive as they may sound, it's not, as you can get a free shiny Garados from a story event in one of the earlier games. Suffice it to say I never evolved that Magikarp, and so despise my excitement, it was pretty useless.

If it was a full-odds shiny Magikarp then I'd say that's pretty awesome. Also, the shiny Gyarados from Gold/Silver/Crystal wasn't able to be traded up to Gen 3, so I'd still say it was pretty cool to find a shiny Magikarp. Maybe not on a newer game, but on FireRed? Yes.

I feel that I've caught more shinies when just trying to complete my pokedex, as opposed to actual shiny hunting lol

unfortunately, though, besides my furfrou, the only shinies I've caught have been of pokemon I hate (gurdurr, mr. mime, etc) lol

Finally oh finally! After years of on and off hunting I finally got my shiny Tentacool. Tentacool was the first shiny I encountered way back on Crystal when I was a kid, but I did not catch it because I was out of Pokeballs. Ever since then, its been one of my shiny targets. It's nice to finally have one.
