Should Dexit stay in the games?

I don't play new nintendo pokemon games anymore.
I do think dexit should go and Pokemon should revamp their games and go as an mmo and just add to the game for years without dripping content instead of remaking practically the same game over and over and end up with 50 Rattata like and Pidgey like pokemon in the Pokemon universe and then say we gotta cut monsters but we are just going to bring back our favorites all the time so your favorite may never be seen again... Or maybe just for 10 years.
Nintendo does digital games now so I'd think it could be doable.

Okay I might get a lot of hate for saying this but hear me out since I think some are questioning the national dex again. I mean after PLA I think people finally got used to it. Think of this way. Would you rather use different Pokémon that you never used before in the generation or stick to the same repetitive Pokémon team that you always build up in past Pokémon games. The way generations are is that they introduce new Pokémon. Black and White was the only generation to not include the older Pokémon up until you get to the Post game and people for some reason back in 2011 when it came out hated it.

Its a pretty touchy subject and my personal opinion I really don't mind most Pokémon being in the dex. I am more open minded to try the new Pokémon that is in Scarlet and Violet and might use some older Pokémon that I never thought to use before. It will at least give me a refreshing experience. It can get boring using the same Pokémon you used in past generations so its nice to have a change. Besides I think nobody is going to think to catch all 900+ Pokémon that would just be too much of a hassle. Yes I know the phrase "Gotta Catch Em All" but Its become dated and I think this is the end of that era weather people like it or not. Just my two cents about the national dex since it became so controversial thanks to Sword and Shield.

Thing is, with the count being 807 Pokémon before they implemented Dexit in Sword & Shield, there are so many options for team building that "just using the same Pokémon team that you always build up in past Pokémon games" doesn't really hold water. Certainly, some people did do that, but different people approach the games in different ways.

Myself for example, quoting my previous post in the thread:
So, I'm a person whose preferred method of playing Pokémon games is to choose team members from across the National Pokédex, breed them with the egg moves, Abilities, IVs, etc. that I want, give them a fitting nickname, and then use them in the playthrough where I'll EV train them so that they're competitively viable should the need arise. This is how I play all of the games in Generations 4-7, where the National Pokédex is a feature and you can transfer the non-native species into the games if you so desire.
I enjoy planning out teams before playing through the games and then breeding them to have all the good egg moves, natures, IVs, etc. While sometimes teams would have the same Pokémon show up sometimes, I strove to make teams utilizing Pokémon I hadn't used on teams before. This can include both the Pokémon who are newly added in a generation as well as Pokémon who were in previous generations who I just never gave a chance to prior. When there are so many options, I'm sure a lot of people out there haven't ever really bothered using a great many of the Pokémon out there.

Going back to the topic of people using the same team members for a moment though, sometimes there's sentimental attachment. I have a friend who has carried the same Scizor through every game since Generation III, collecting all of the Ribbons on her that can be earned. Scizor is a fairly popular Pokémon and it has since been added to Sword & Shield with the update accompanying its DLC and is included in the subsequent games, but it didn't make the initial cut. Imagine someone having that same sort of sentimental attachment for some individual Pokémon of theirs who doesn't have the luxury of being so popular and that can get overlooked.

I think that there are too many pokemon, but once you obtain the National Pokedex you have already beaten the basic game, so what can go wrong? I just think that it's cool to always have all the pokemon, because there are a lot of ways to play, but especially Pokemon is a "monster collector" game, isn't it ironic that you can't actually keep them all?
There's not even that much work to do on the pokedex entries as they have always copied the older ones, so that would work well. Unfortunately, there's not much to discuss here, because GF has already made a choice. I don't think we'll ever see the entire National Pokedex again.
