her first birthday will be december 5th if anyone ever tells you that calicos are sassy........they're right. dear god, they're right.

My calico, Jewels is also very sassy! She’ll go for my most expensive things to knock over when I don’t give her attention when she wants it . My mom said she has heard people say that calicos tend to be sassy and something else. I kinda dismissed her since calico is just a pattern and not a breed. But, hearing you say this makes me realize there probably is truth to it .

My mom's calico cat is aptly named Sassy (short for Sassafras) and she definitely fits the description. I wonder if there's something in the genes for the coat color that is linked to that sassy personality, similar to how calicos are also usually female.

Since Christmas is coming up, I thought it would be a great time to try the burger costume on while Spanky’s wearing the santa hat. Needless to say, she was not purrleased .

It's a bit blurry but she was catching a treat and I absolutely love getting a photo of her expression mid catch!
