this is just something i have seen a few videos about on YT, and was wondering what you all would like to see next? i'd love to know!!!
personally, i'd REALLY love Nintendo bringing back the christmas lights on the houses. it was such a cute little detail that i miss. or maybe the multi-leveled towns. themed towns could get into so much more detail with more layers of a town to work with, honestly!

Basically everything but multilevel towns, it was a bit of a pain to find villagers given the town was so big!
I would really like a middle ground with villager personalities however, not just the same as Population Growing. Anything that I voted on could be altered to make it more updated/interesting. :)

As for paths, do you mean QR codes? I would rather have the game just have default paths you can use that change with the seasons. Having them not be cohesive with my layout was the main reason why I do not use them.

Multi-level towns are my first choice out of these options. They allowed for much more varied and interesting geography, and the different ramps and waterfalls would be very fun to build around. For people who don't want this, I propose an option to choose the amount of levels in your town, which would range from 1 to 3. Since Rover will show you a town's map before you choose it in New Leaf and I don't expect that to change here, you would always be able to choose the amount you want to play on.

yeah, i think by paths they met the qr codes. its such a pain to make paths in acnl cause it doesnt have the system the old games used

If multi-level towns come back I want a quick way to get back if you miscalculate where the ramp is (i say this as I've been re-playing CF recently and more then once, i've missed the ramp and had to walk all the way around even if there is another ramp somewhere in the middle) or be allowed a ladder or allowing to add another ramp (another thing, apparently in CF, you could have 4 bridges compared to 3 in NL)

All of the above... and the shopping card (basically a debit card that was in City Folk) as well. ;)

and the shopping card

Ooo, yeah! I would love that returning!
It's such a hassle having bells take up so much room in the pockets, in addition to Tools also needing spaces it's too cramped and limited.

I agree so much with you, that card is a lifesaver when shopping at Gracie Grace, though I wish it can be used at normal stores too

I was about to say that I thought jvgsjeff made good points in his video about it, but he beat me to it haha

can someone refresh my memory on the last poll option?

tbh, I absolutely hated the shopping card, *because* it was only usable for one store

oh, and something small-ish I'd like to see back, that I'm pretty sure I posted before

acre mapping

nothing like to separate load points like cube crossing had, but simply a means to make locating stuff and such easier

I voted for all of them except quick path options, I don't really care about that. But I love all of the other things, especially morning aerobics and meaner cranky villagers!

All of the above, especially the morning exercises and cranky villagers being mean again.

Of course I had to vote for all. I also want the acorn festival to return, with actual acorn themed furniture instead of mushroom themed furniture.

Also, quick path options?

Well, I would expect the first store of nooks to not take a card (kinda like bells only or you get nothing) but with later ones of the store, they do

Or with how the town fund was done, you could just select what area you in mind, but with a grid so you can see how big that that PWP is

wait huh, I'm very confused

I'm assuming this is about acre mapping, but have you ever played the original animal crossing? since I'm not sure if you're misunderstanding my post due to a lack of knowledge here, or if this is just a simple mixed communication

Oh, okay yeah, I totally somehow missed that part of nothing of loading zones, this is me mixing quite a few games of the AC series, and a bit of me missing that which cause the miscommunication (I have played the original AC though)

Simply put, what I was saying was the town hall in CF Pelly/Phyllis would show you the map of the town and it gave an area of where the bridge could go (predetermined by what map you had)

The grid I was talking about was just a simple grid of how big an object is and the dead zone (like the roost, a 3x5 area) so you can see at a glance instead of guessing that it’s too close or far.

This comes from me playing Stardew Valley where when placing buildings on your farm, you are taken to your map and have a small grid of the building you currently have selected, so you see how big it is, and if it’s too close to a fence/home/river, the area will turn red indicating an invalid position

Apologies for the confusion (and I’m not suggesting AC Switch turns into SDV, this is just an example of the grid I had in mind)

I think multi level towns are interesting, maybe they should add it as an option like you can choose all one level or multi. Would definitely add more variety to towns!

Voted for all of them except the quick paths. Not sure what those are.
