Supply chains seem to still be having issues with the current global events, so we had a brief shortage of Little Debbie Swiss Rolls. I have had some of their more seasonal stuff like their Pumpkin Delights. They do make other things I haven't got around to trying. What do you like as an occasional treat? I did have Little Debbie and Hostess in mind, this doesn't need to limited to that.

bro i love snack cakes - i don’t have them very often but my favourites are twinkies and hostess’ cupcakes (especially the chocolate ones). 🤤

I'm not someone who likes snacks and such a lot, but man.. we have those sugary waffles with dark chocolate over them and I could eat them all day. Rarley have them though, because they have tons of calories.. like all the good stuff 😭

When I was in elementary school I used to have one with lunch most of the time. I remember having Zebra Cakes and Cosmic Brownies most often, but my favorites have always been Snowballs!

I don't eat stuff like that often, mostly because my new diet basically forbids it, but I really like cosmic brownies a lot :)

I am not very fond of snack cakes. Usually I prefer savory snacks. Even though I rarely buy Little Debbie products I don’t mind the caramel bars. They’re not easy to find where I live.

Snack cakes are my childhood.
Ho hos, ding-dongs, and cupcakes from Hostess were always my favorite (still are). Oh, and cosmic brownies. can't forget about those legendary snacks.

I actually looked for swiss rolls yesterday at the store and they didn't have any. They are usually the only snack cake I get so I haven't tried any of the others besides the oatmeal creme pies. Those ones are pretty good too but super sweet.

I'm not really a big fan of snack cakes, especially since I only ever visit the states, like, once every two years, so I haven't tried my way through most of them, but I like oatmeal creme pies and honey buns. The salted caramel cookie bars that were posted look awesome, though.

I'm not one to indulge in prepackaged snack cakes, they were more of a childhood thing. Nowadays I bake treats, but even that is infrequent, tied to special occasions like birthdays or holidays.

When I was a kid and ate them though, I'd say I overall preferred Hostess over Little Debbie in terms of flavor. Ho-Hos were way better than Swiss Rolls, Hostess Cupcakes were better than Little Debbie's, and Ding Dongs and Zingers were both good. Little Debbie did have good stuff too though, like Fudge Rounds, Oatmeal Cream Pies, Star Crunch, and Cosmic Brownies.

To be honest, I rarely eat sweets at all anymore. Maybe once in a blue moon, which is probably a good thing considering my metabolism will slow down at some point and then I’ll really have to watch what I eat. Used to love snack cakes, but eh, not really anymore.

When I was little I liked frozen "Ah Caramel", but it's a local brand, so I don't think ppl have heard of it. Now I find them too sweet.
I occasionally (rarely) have Wagon Wheels. Someone gave me a Japanese baumkuchen recently, it was really good.

I don't get things like that often. As @Halloqueen said, it was a childhood treat. If I'm feeling nostalgic and want something like that, it would be Devil Dogs. Those were my favorite, growing up.

I like Little Debbie snack cakes but I don't buy them often because I try not to keep too many snack foods in the house. I loved them as a kid, though, and I remember my mom always putting one in my lunch each day for school.

As an adult, my favorites are the Swiss Cake Rolls, Peanut Butter Bars, and Coffee Cakes.

As a kid, in addition to the ones above I also loved Fudge Rounds, Cupcakes, Oatmeal Pies and more. I never liked Twinkies or Snowballs, though.

I mean this is like a whole thing like you have Hostess which for me looks just so factory fake and plasticy and I don't think I've had very many hostess items. Like their little donuts? great! A twinkie? never had it, it seems too weird.

Then there's the wholesome and sweet Little Debbie she's adorable, she's got her cute outfit she makes those cosmic brownies and star crunches, like hostess could never. Hostess relies solely on weird names like ho ho and ding dong, come on make better snacks so we don't have to rely on innuendo snacks and snacks that are shaped like boobs

Then there's the underdog PA's own TastyKake but they always look like trash.

So basically Debbie is a baddie and her snacks slap

I've never had a twinkle or any other snack cake before. I'm not sure if they're more popular in the states than canada but I dont really remember kids eating them much when I was in school. The closest thing I can remember kids having as a treat was wagon wheels.

The only super processed snack that I can remember liking a lot as a kid was the Little Debbie Nutty Buddy Bars. I think when I had them a few years ago I couldn't stand them because of how sweet they are.

As an adult, it's a lot harder for me to find snacks I like because I find a lot of them too sweet now, most of the time I don't buy any at the grocery store. If I do buy snacks, usually it's import snacks that I've never tried before.

I love having stroopwafel with my tea now as a snack. I probably saw it in a video somewhere, but you cover your mug with the stroopwafel while you steep your tea to warm up the stroopwafel.

I hear twinkies aren't as good as they used to be after the Hostess bankruptcy. Different people revived the company with a different recipe.

I like these snack cakes: The Gansitos are like a Twinkie covered in dark chocolate with a raspberry and creme filling. They're fairly light and not too sweet.Raspberry Zingers used to be made by a company called Dolly Madison which I think got absorbed by Hostess many years ago. That raspberry stuff on the outside is kind of gooey and weird by I really like it.I also like Little Debbie's Nutty Bars. They're better than those knockoffs that Hostess came out with a while back.

Stroopwafels are delicious! There's a shop where I live that sells ones locally made and they're very good 😊 I believe that putting them on top of your tea is the traditional Dutch way to eat them. The lady in the shop recommended warming them up over your tea while steeping too. I haven't had a stroopwafel for quite some time and seeing your post reminded me of how good they are! 🙂
