Clothing Spiked Designs [Open for requests]

Heh...here I am again. Do you think Dr. Who's (the original series) original "Master" played by Roger Delgado's outfit could be done?

Ugh...sorry for the long link. I don't know if this shows enough, and other pics are of dolls...but do you get the idea or know who Roger Delgago was? Well, sans the black gloves he always wears, as I doubt gloves can be made for AC! :)

Also, perhaps...just perhaps...for us "oldie" fangirls, maybe Dodo's famous Red and Black "Celestial Toymaker" outfit could be made? I know the hat would be impossible, tho. But the outfit was cute and memorable.

BTW...I'm still LOVING your Baabara outfit you made for me (my Mrazek Mayor won't wear anything else!) and my male character won't take off his Dr. Who John Pertwee suit. :D

If these aren't doable, that's all right. But it won't hurt to ask. I posted this some of this in the Official Requests Thread and then remembered you specifically. So...don't feel unwanted or un-needed! :)

I'm so sorry I didn't reply to these sooner, my link to these forums is on this thread (but the first page) and I just didn't think to check to see if there were any new posts (doh!)

I'm currently doing a few designs of my own but always interested in doing more, recently my time is very limited and I have some very busy weeks ahead but this doesn't mean I won't do requests, it just means I may be very slow with them :(

So, to Adol, I'll always take requests, I just may not be as quick to deliver as most, I have two children and a partner who works odd shifts so as you can imagine my spare time is limited and I already have a lot of interests but if you post what you're after I can have a stab at it, right now the more interested I am the more likely I am to work on it :)

To Ankhes, as you're well aware of last time you made a request I'm not a big Dr Who fan and so know little about it all lol From what I can see the Master wears essentially an all black suit with white cuffs? The neck collar wouldn't be possible as obviously there is no options to add collars in the game. I'm sure I could take a shot at making the black jacket but I'd imagine it would look very simplistic and have very little detail as there isn't all that much detail in it :/

I'll have a play sometime when I get a chance and see what I can do.
 
*facepalm* I actually forgot that you aren't a Dr. Who fan. I do recall that you weren't really familiar with the original, tho.

Um...you have a great point about collars. I totally forgot about that. I usually have all girl characters with just the one exception who wears the Jon Pertwee suit you made.

Don't worry about even messing with the Master's suit. I now see what you mean and it wouldn't work. I can't believe I forgot about that. Thank you for responding. And no worries - I totally understand limited time. :)

I think it looks a lot better when it's in-game, the image I got didn't seem to capture what it actually looks like very well :(

As much as I'd like to fulfil this request there is only so much you can do on AC:NL and when it comes to large amount of detail in a small area it's usually not possible.

The dress is less than 80 pixels in height and around a third less the width, to make the tepots look like teapots as they do in that image you would probably need 8-10 pixels squared for each teapot which means with the shape of the dress the best you could hope for is three or four very large teapots in comparison. To do it as it looks in that picture just isn't possible due to pixel restraints.

It's okay :) I just need a dress with tea pots on it, I am really fine with, any way you feel like doing it. :)

heeeeeeeey spike! i know that you normally design clothes but i was wondering if you ever did town maps? i'm really struggling making one, if not that is completely cool~ i know you don't normally charge but since this isn't a normal request i would love to pay in whatever way i can!

obviously don't worry if you can't, it's probably quite tedious!!

I'd love to help but I've never made one and it's not something I really have much interest in making. I prefer making things that more than one person may want to use sorry :(

Hey! I've been trying to find someone who could fill this. I feel like it isn't too demanding of a design.

I'm trying to get a cooking mama outfit for my cycling town character. Just a white shirt under an apron with blue jeans. I guess the bandana could be optional but if you could make it work somehow that would be awesome!

I like this idea. I'm not sure how it'll work out though as the apron is long and she wars jeans as you mentioned underneath meaning if I use a base dress the apron will be nice and long but she'd have to wear a dress underneath and if I just go with a shirt I'm not sure if the apron will look long enough.

I'll definitely give it a try, I've just picked up a second copy of New Leaf to do some cycling too so forgive me if I'm not quick as I have that and my actual gardening to do at the moment in preparation for when my friends visit this weekend. That said I may have a go at this tonight if I have time :)

OK I've had a play and I think I can do a fairly good job, well at least as good as I think can be done with bases to work with. The top shouldn't be a problem but I've now had a go at the hat and I really cannot seem to get the finish I want. You could always ask someone else to do the hat but I'll have the top on here tonight at some point.
