I think something similar happened to me when I hit A- on my first file. I may try to get some better gear rolls before trying to go beyond B+ on this new file, but I might just get bored or impatient one day and jump right in.

Yeah, and I always level my gear in ranked bc you gain so many points when you win.. I should probably play more carefully..

i got S rank in ~2 days by just doing twin squad, getting to A+ 97 and winning one match. u could try something like that

I've never done twin squad much, the person I played with is gone right now but once he gets back I'll try

The points gained from Ranked are definitely nice. I mainly use ranked for leveling my actual level. I never really gear stop me from playing on my first file because of that, so I guess I'll jump back to it more quickly than I'd think. Still would love to get my Ink Resistance shoes in from Spyke, though, which should be here tomorrow. That ability's pretty handy for the .52 Gal Deco at the range I tend to be at. Stuck in the chaos way too often, and those splats that could have been prevented by Ink Resistance just hurt the soul.

Yes, I cannot get to B+ for nothing. It seems that I always win a match, then lose one, and the pattern goes on forever.
It's so frustrating. It's been going on for a week now.
However it seems that the first match I play in a day I always win, so am I supposed to only play 1 Ranked match a day until I get to S+?

I feel like I get more steady results with Tower Control and Splat Zones.

Rainmaker matches are so quirky, either almost always being really fast knokouts from my team against the other, or my team turns into superjump-happy squid babies. I don't really like singling out one mode over the others in ranked, just something I've noticed with my luck in particular. Maybe other people have similar experiences with other modes that keeps them from ranking up?

The art book is fantastic! I was surprised by just how much was actually in the thing.

I'm actually using the Punk Whites while I wait for my ink resistance shoes to show up, but the Cherry variants look better in the screenshot for some reason.

Its so fuking frustrating that when i hit A- 70 to 99 i start losing battles because:
A) Connection Problems
B) Fighting against a whole lvl. 50 team
C) Stupid Teammates
D) ALL OF THEM COMBINED

Is it sad that I have like no gear left to level up? All the gear I have currently has at least one slot filled.

I don't have all the new gear, and I'd still have to add slots to stuff, but the fact that I've gone through battles with each piece of gear is like... wow. .___.

That's quite a bit of gear! I can't even think about that on this new file, gotta hoard my money for the gear I want and then more for the re-rolls since I don't have my sea snails here...

But I keep failing because so much of the new gear is cute... And already failed about 5 re-rolls.

Yes, yes, same here! When the book arrived, I was surprised how huge the parcel was haha. Also, by coincidence, one of the first pages I opened was that one artwork from this year's Gamescom in Cologne (Germany) that also said something in German. It's funny for me, because I happen to come from near Cologne and I hadn't expected a Japanese book to say something in German at all XD

I think one of my favorite bits from the art book is the variations of the Squid sisters and the outfits. It would be super cool to get those as gear, though some of them would probably cause problems with clipping.

Yes, I love some of the unused outfits for the squid sisters as well. Some of them look even nicer than what they went for in the game in my opinion.

I thought so too! As far as the one I like that's closest to the current one, the one with the arrows was pretty sweet. So many good ones though. ;o;

But it's all I use. ;~;!!

It's one of the few guns immediately hindered by a single Defense Up Main but it's still pretty great. Especially on maps with narrow areas or a lot of ramps. Oh boy.

I've been using chargers a lot recently and I don't notice too much salt from other players, except for one thing.... whenever someone pursues me, I try to hide in a corner with my charge ready, waiting for them to pop up so I can snipe them (sometimes that works other times not so much) and that always seems to get people salty. like of all the times I've experienced "sniper salt" it's because I splatted them the way I described earlier. lmao

It's OP and it's beautiful. Honestly I'm surprised more people don't use it. Two hits to splat and decent fire rate for turf coverage? Amazing!

Recently I've been using the Splash-O-Matic and I'm actually really good with it. I love how broken Bomb Rush is on certain maps. A main Special Charge Up has it ready in like ten seconds and by the time I'm finished with it I'm ready to use it again.
