You should really try something other than a shooterA lot of people seem to still want to carry the thing in the wrong direction. ;;
Trying out the new Slosher. Since I only used sloshers a few times in the past, it's difficult to get the hang of. It does make me want to try the .96 Gal Deco more and more though, since the set-up is pretty interesting and it's something they share.
I'm so used to primarily using the .52 Gal Deco but I feel like I should maybe try out more things too.
At least for these two that I'll be trying I can use the same set of gear aha...

They allow you to re-roll the sub abilities on your gear without paying 30,000p for each re-roll. Keep in mind all three abilities are re-rolled, not just one.
Yesterday, in Tower Control, I splatted 18 people and you think when I'm getting rid of the opponents, someone of the other 3 teammates would go on top of the tower. But no, one of them was painting the map as if it was Turf War and the other 2 were... I don't know. All I can say, they didn't help at all. Of course we lost.
That's why I've been hating ranked battles more and more recently. I do consider myself to be good at the game but it's useless when the other teammates do nothing. It's unfair. I'm still rank A but who knows how long I can hold that.
Not too sure about the new Slosher. I've never been too crazy about the Kraken since it's primarily a special you use to charge into the fray and attack someone with (much like the Bubbler), and I prefer to stay away from most of the action and attack from afar.
Same, squadding is the way to go
Except in squads, no matter the rank of your teammates, you always go against 4 S ranks. You could have 4 C- on your team and you'll still be paired with only 4 S ranks.

I tend to defend contested areas pretty aggressively, so I'm used to being in the thick of things. This is generally only the case with my main though, since the .52 Gal Deco hits pretty hard and is easy to sneak about with.
With new weapons, like the Slosher, I'm definitely more tentative, but I'm finding that it's pretty great for middle areas too, and if you don't have Special Duration Up, it's still a great defensive tool for those who get up close. Just hit the special and splat them, you don't need to venture into enemy territory too long if you don't want to, just get some extra inking in there.
I'm actually starting to get really used to the slosher though, so I might make it one of my main weapons. Only other weapon I used to get this much use of was the Heavy Splatling, which I hope to make a set for on this file as well.
The first time I played Rainmaker, I thought you had to carry it to my own base so I was just walking up the ramps in Moray Towers while my teammates were waiting at the center of the map totally confused. When the rainmaker exploded and I died I finally realized what was going on and why the opponents weren't chasing me up the ramps.

Oh I looked it up. You know, the deco Gals get decorated with pretty gems and stuff, and the rollers and sloshers get freaking arrow stickers. COME ON.
