I wANT TO KILL OVERTIME
I WAS ONE AWAY FROM WINNING IN RAINMAKER WHEN THE OTHER TEAM STOLE IT AND THEY WON
AND THEN I GET 20 KILLS IN SPLAT ZONES AND WE HAD 4 LEFT TILL WE WON AND THE OTHER TEAM WON BECAUSE OF FREAKING OVERTIME
OVERTIME IS DUMB I HATE IT
...So, I've been playing regular battle a lot more lately.
I'm learning to not be a stereotypical charger user and just stay far away from everyone in high spots, and ony focusing on killing foes and not on inking turf. I jump around and snipe and am mobile and walk on every level on a stage. I use my subs (splat bombs) strategically, though I don't use my special often (bomb rush) except sometimes when I want to cover a lot of turf at the last seconds of a match.
The Splat Charger is so fun to use and it's a really great charger for being mobile and jumping around. It's fast and fun. Although it's range isn't as large as an E-Liter, it still is an amazing weapon. I used to dislike splat bombs because they take a while to explode and don't even start to explode until they're on the ground. But the splat charger has taught me they're awesome. It's so satisfying when you splat one (or two) unsuspecting Inklings with it, or a poor squid who couldn't escape in time.
Sorry, E-Liter 3K, but I think the Splat Charger has replaced you for my favorite charger.
I still don't know what my all time favorite weapon is, I'm deciding between .52 Gal Deco and the Splat Charger.
Mani Mahi resort is a really fun stage and it's a lot more charger friendly than I thought it would be. Moving around and splatting people who come by is just so fun.
The only problem with the stage is the water. I get it's supposed to be an obstacle, but I wish it was clearer where I can and can't go. Sometime the platforms in the water in the first half of the match look like they're out of the water when they're really not. A good example is the wire ramp near the base. A tiny bit of it is poking out of the water at the start while the rest of it is submerged. From a certain angle, the part that's out of the water is the only part of the ramp you see, so you can assume the whole ramp is out of the water, jump on it, and die.
Other than that, I love how the map looks surrounded by water on the Gamepad and that the pool is actually shaped like a squid. And the jellyfish on the floats and playing with the beach ball are so cute. I wish my inkling could take a dip in the pool without dying.

I only have one, my orange arrows with three Special Charge Ups.
It's likely because I only reroll the gear I use the most often, not every gear I own because I'm trying to collect them all and a lot of them are either ugly or have a lame main ability, or both, so I don't use them.

I also save my 2/3 rolls because it's hilarious to look at my failures, and most of the time they're good abilities.

Same here, overtime HAS saved me like twice, but it's so frustrating when you're SO CLOSE to winning but the enemy team manages to get it at the last second and never let go of it.
Overtime is pointless, because if you tie, the game doesn't go into overtime. It randomly decides a winner.

Woah, Mahi Mahi Resort isn't in the Splatfest rotation! But Museum D'Alfonsino is. <3
If you tie, it chooses the team that got the score first iirc.

I'm currently on my Team Buger file and my battles are so-so.
As it turns out, having Arowana Mall as a Splatfesr stage did not turn out nearly as great as I thought it would.
I'm really not a big fan of the stages this Splatfest. Why no Mahi Mahi?

This is by far the worst Splatfest ever. I'm on a team with 28, 34, 17 while the other team has 45, 50, 50, 50. Oh and those 50s? They all have a squad tag. The same squad tag. Yeah.
I was legit like crying earlier because I wanted to hit Champion before I went to bed and I was so tired and we kept losing and losing. It's been one-sided before but never like this. I'm getting so mad because literally every skilled player is on team burger. It's like they held a meeting to decide which side the pros would be on.
I feel like I made a horrible choice choosing the side I actually favor.

Well, I sure am glad I had each file choose a different side. I don't even want to go on my Team Pizza file after hearing that.
But try not to just assume a player is bad if they're low level. They could have multiple flies like I do.
And you don't have to play Splatoon for a long time to become a decent player, if they are new.
I still think Cars vs Planes was worse since it was basically this Splatfest except with a ton of lag.
Also I forgot to mention that I found a few people from Squids Next Door (on Team Burgers ofc). IT ISN'T FUN PLAYING WITH THEM AT ALL.
But even if you do get an even match, the people on your team are dumber than rocks. The first game I got 12 KILLS, 0 DEATHS, AND 1,300 POINTS OF TURF COVERED AND WE STILL LOST, AND IT WASN'T EVEN CLOSE. NO DC'S EITHER.
There was also a level 50 another match who just stood there and just kept yelling "C'mon!" at us. Squitch just do something other than STANDING STILL.

You guys think Team Burger is unstoppable, but apparently Team Burger members do not know the meaning of "C'mon."
I cannot tell you how many times the other team invaded our base while we thought we had everything under control, then I go to the base and try to mop up while fighting everyone there, I "C'mon" and my teammates don't listen, I die, and then by the time my teammates realize any things happening it's too late.

I was getting really angry that literally I stopped playing a battle with 30 seconds left and went on to do my painting homework because team pizza is just so weak. I only won like 5 or less battles. I scraped to Defender title by losing battles (which have been my Splatfest life story for the last 3 Splatfests) I'm stuck with terrible members and it sucks. It's 3 a.m. I don't deserve this. I don't know if I'm gonna bother playing tomorrow since I usually don't care towards the end due to so much disappointment.

I stopped to play Xenoblade Chronicles, haha.
I'll get to Queen tomorrow, though.
My matches were actually pretty good. Got two D/Cs on my team while I played, but we won one of those with a 7% difference. That was rad. I get really aggressive when people D/C.
