if you have food, clothes, a house, and nice parents, then you are spoiled.[/spoiler]

So if one has any of those, they must be spoiled.
wow lol omg you fail. I never typed that last part. just look back at my post.

EPIC FAIL!
Think we did the same thing.
Forgot to end quotes.

Regardless, according to your mentality, anyone with those necessities is spoiled.

Calm the arguing down.
He's right.

We should laugh at his butthurt instead.

@OJ
I am a God?

O-o wait, I am!
Of course you two are gods. :)

But I should get going.
Stop the trying to kiss up, please. You're being annoying. I am no god, nor do I ever plan on becoming one.

Still, they're necessities, all except for the nice parents. If you need something to live and you have it, you're not spoiled.

Now I'm just confused. Wait, what's happening to the quoting?

yes i know, but as americans we have MORE than enough necessities. we have more than what we need to survive, all of us! now stop being so naive. we are all spoiled americans

We need all the necessities.

And besides, we have to work for that stuff.

America, in general, is MOSTLY spoiled. There are some that are not.

Also, there's a difference between being spoiled and well-off.

yeah, be cause we (or, most likely your parents), have the opportunity to work for that stuff!

I know, not the best example.

And I don't get what the "yeah, be cause we (or, most likely your parents), have the opportunity to work for that stuff!" was supposed to be? Stating the obvious? If it was sarcasm, it really didn't make any sense. Again, why do you think you know so much about every one of us that you can generalize or say what we have/do?

Have basic necessities don't mean you're spoiled. That's like saying "You have air to breathe, you're spoiled." Necessities are things such as shelter, food, water, etc. I don't see what is wrong with having nice parents. What makes you spoiled are getting everything you see and want right then and there.
um no. time for a reality check buddy
Yes, you do need food and water and shelter. They ARE necessities. You're not spoiled, you're fortunate or you're rightfully earned it. You can't survive without water and food. So yes, it's a necessity, not something that you're spoiled with.

Also, in rebuttal, since you're saying that you're spoiled if you have clothes and food and the like, then you're spoiled. So the homeless people with clothes and maybe even food are spoiled. Yea, they've got it made.

I love his baseless accusations. They show how much he knows about us.
Even poor children have necessities. They may have the very basics, but I'm sure you go out to eat every now and then. I'm sure you have burgers at home and pop and what have you. You have a nice, comfortable bed, I assume, if you've a computer.

You're spoiled.

You don't sleep on a mat, eat poor quality food (yet its still food), and you don't have to get water from a creek (which still is water).

We're all spoiled. Don't deny it.

Again, there's a difference between being spoiled and well-off. You really don't can't say that we're all spoiled, because, again, you don't have any clue as to what our lives are like in the financial area.

Ok. We're well-off.

I was bantering anyway. I know what spoiled means.

Spoiled is like when your grandparents buy you a million dollar camera.

oh yeah, here's a MUCH better example

Yeah, we're not spoiled.

I understand his point on how we're much better off than other countries. However, most of us are just that
