Voting for Volt, in the grand scheme of things, likely wouldn't do much. I don't see many people coming to Volt's defense, actually, more likely my vote being the start of a wagon (assuming I'd be the first vote, given there currently are no votes for Volt.) considering what people have said about being okay to vote Volt. Maybe not a wagon big enough to cause a lynch with the Kat wagon to play, but still. Who voted Volt would be useful if a lynch did happen and Volt flipped town - especially if anyone chose to vote Volt because they didn't want to vote Kat (maf buddies trying to protect?). If Volt was lynched and flipped red, however, I'm not sure if I'd be able to pinpoint any notable interactions between other players as to who might be teamed up, since, like I said, no-one really seems to be particularly sided with Volt for much. If there was no lynch on Volt, I think who voted the same as me wouldn't be useful information until later into the game.

this posts stands out to me. it's kind of hard to follow--that could be my undercaffeinated brain--but what if both dino and volt are mafia?

listen, there's not much to go off on dino but the way she came to defend volt instead of using it as an opportunity to finally rid herself of suspicions just doesn't sit right with me. plus volt's posts have been iffy from the beginning, i agree with what bianca said:

i'm more comfortable casting a vote on volt especially after the ~~extremely~~ convenient mr. clean reveal. i mean are we really just letting that pass by???

i would consider kat, but given the circumstance hard to tell whats going on. the exchange between her and teddy that volt pointed out feels weird, but also as teddy is new to the game it feels like she was just trying to get him to be more clear. didn't feel like coordinated coaching imo. i think they could both be town. (hard to ignore the d.t. name drop and vanishing, but also 'tis virus times so i get it.)

I agree with Antonio that there's the possibility that there's a theme. Notice how all of the roles claimed so far (even potential fakes) are related to cleanliness in some way. With the exception of one. Kat slapping some green on the words Trump don't make it a town role and I absolutely think Kat might have been going down the route that people might assume Trump - one of the most powerful men in the world - is a form of power role (I did think that) and therefore avoid lynching

We're sharing because some of us think there's a theme going on in terms of role names, Kat shared without realising the theme might exist.

I don't necessarily agree, but if toads allows it, then it does make things easier. I'm down with voting Kat, because I don't see why she wouldn't even TRY to defend herself as town. It's out of character for her to do this the way she did :/

Also I'm still sus of Trundle. I might be biased but I still don't like his opportunistic read on Dino (who I'm more certain is town at this point) because I think as a veteran player he would make more sense. I also would like to point out that Trundle had been known to throw his scummates under the bus especially if it would benefit him (theory: if Kat is scum and isn't feeling it this game, why not make her death beneficial for him) so Kat flipping red would still not make me automatically clear him.

that's what puts me off thinking kat is town. i'm trying to think of a situation where donald trump is town and it's not too far a stretch since he recently told his constituents to think about putting disinfectants in their lungs.

Of course not, if anything mafia would most likely come out and fake a claim regarding it. However, we can deduct that there is an ongoing theme for town/mafia regarding role names which can limit mafia when they fake claim.

TBH, I think @Arstotzkan is a jester rather then scum aligned.

I mean I did entertain the possibility of her being jester (3rd party again Kat? lol) but I would like to hear @Geoni 's opinion about this. I really hope not though because I don't want to waste a lynch on jester :/

I think - assuming the theme is true - that it's likely a special role for mafia or third party, a.k.a something town wants to get rid of ASAP.

Yes, there's the possibility the whole role name theme thing is a lot of hooey, however, at this rate, lynching Kat and watching where that flips is the best way to confirm this. Is Kat flips town, we will know that following the pursuit of role names was a bad idea and to not focus on that again in the future.

I did some research and the only relation I found with the word clean was that he was "clean" of working with the Russians by congress.
Nothing about Donald Trump screams clean, no branded cleaning products, maybe the hotel business has to always be clean.
