Just got home from the shore and quickly read over some people's answers to the RQS and an answer that stuck out to me was:

What alignment did you want to be this game? Why?:
- third party. because i love being totally alone. also the third party roles are usually the most interesting. i looove sk even tho i may not be the best at it (yeah im going off of tos experiences).

So far in every game Shiida has played, she answers "Mafia" or "No preference" (She's only ever been Pro-town on TBT). So for her to claim to like 3rd party role the most is both a new answer for her and weird considering she liked playing Mafia which is a team effort ( Her reasoning for liking 3rd Party was bc she likes being totally alone).

Probably nothing huge to note but it's a start for my Day 1 reads. (I don't know how much information you can get from answers to that question, but when it's early in the game I try to look for inconsistencies in gameplay, for example Oak/heyden/whatever being serious during the first few posts which Entropy had already pointed out. )

Cory the reason I said IDC is because I've only been in 2 forum mafia games and I was town in both, so I can't say which I prefer really.

In town of Salem I do prefer being mafia though, if that means anything.

The whole push rubs me the wrong way. It doesn't feel like he's searching for mafia, it looks like he's looking for an excuse to lynch someone.

But I really am busy with school, it's the last week of semester so it's all my half yearlys piled up. I didn't actually read the role fully so I automatically thought everyone gained won, my fault.

@ Entropy - Keeping in mind that it's still Day 1 and the game just started, I have to say that I agree that Minties seems a little scummy so far, primarily based on how she answered the questions. Whilst it is true that she has repeatedly said prior to the game starting that she was not overly excited to join another TBT Mafia game already, the following statements seems very out-of-character for her:





Whilst I can understand that she's not quite as enthusiastic as she normally would be to participate in this game, fact remains that she is incredibly competitive when it comes to Mafia and always really want to win. I would dare say that it goes against her nature to some extent to participate in a game yet not put considerable effort into it, and I think that ultimately she would beat herself up a fair bit if she didn't do her best. That said, I guess we'll have to wait and see how she acts after the game really kicks off - But keep a close eye on her.

as for mafia being a team effort, isnt town a team effort as well? its just that you dont know whos town when youre town but when youre mafia you know who mafia.

I'll answer the other questions, I don't think I'll be making any major guessing this night, or any other night. As I'm new and don't know anyone's play style. I might in a couple of days, who knows.

What alignment did you want to be this game?Why?: Pretty sure mafia, I don't really get this question. If it's a way of guessing mafia by what they want to be, not a very good one.
How do you react under pressure?: Honestly, I don't think I over react. I'm used to being around children so I can keep calm pretty easily.
How active do you plan on being this game?: Somewhat, I might post a lot at first and then simmer out, who knows.
How well do you think you scumhunt(Look to find mafia)?Why?: Terrible as I've never done it before and I don't know how anyone plays yet.
What should we expect from your play-style this game?: Not making any major predictions, I'll be somewhat active.

If your asking why I want to be mafia, it's because I like tricking people. I do have similar experiences on other platforms and area, like moderating a game that is like this but faster paced. It's not like this is completely new, I'm just getting used to the faster paced stuff. But to me it just seems like a forum game, and I have played these before.

I expect to be a tad laid-back. Activity will happen when possible.
I generally act calmly when under pressure and am able to shine in various environments. However, when I'm emotionally distraught, I tend to snap under pressure. I also cried on the freeway for Driver's Ed the other day, simply because the speed and the imagination of what would happen if I hit that car ahead of me at 67 mph fully and all that.
I'm UTC -04:00 currently.
I have been told I can scumhunt well but lack confidence.

Ness' vote on Kirbystarship struck me funnily. I don't like it~

Endless, relevance is not what is important. Information on your alignment theoretically deduce-able from your post will continue to stay relevant, but your clearing of it makes sense. Pooling our 원 would be nice, but I seem to be under the impression that we can only make one transaction a day? But yes, it doesn't matter, we're not doing that~

Oh, and, to be honest, Mafia is always going to be my desired role. I like being the "behind-the-scenes" person, you know?

I love Tom's ****posting, it makes me laugh every time <3

Shiida's not having given reasons for liking Mafia in ToS is also kind of saddening; it gives us no real information to compare with currently. However, Shiida (I'm pronouncing this SHEE-Duh in my head, so...) saying that is also something to note; I can personally understand not wanting to put "Mafia" so that it wouldn't give you any links~ Shiida's reference back to ToS again, however, shows us that ToS experiences now proclaim differently than they previously have? Are we debating this currently?

And Liamslash, answering Town needs to come with an explanation directly after it basically saying that you got a town-aligned role. If you just leave it as "I wanted to be Town," it almost immediately directs others reading it to say, "Oh, so you're Mafia?" Fun. Even if you say Town, it just has bad implications on those reading it. "Oh, so you say Town to eliminate your ties to Mafia? Riiiiiiiiight." To me, it also just seems like a bad attempt to screen Mafia, as Tom and a few others have said previously.

c) How much mafia experience do you have? This is my second game as far as forum or online mafia goes, I've played the party game hundreds of times.

e) Someone dares you to jump a 2 meter gap with a 20 meter drop for $20, do you do it? I don't think so. I'm pretty sure I can't jump that far, and I've never been able to land from jumps without hurting myself due to some leg and knee problems.

What alignment did you want to be this game? Why? Not gonna lie, I wanted mafia. I always enjoy mafia games way more because it's fun to be behind the scenes and fight to keep you from being discovered.
How do you react under pressure? Pretty poorly. look at my first game, I claimed doctor in the first round and almost screwed all of the townies over.
How active do you plan on being this game? As active as I can find time to be, I'm not entirely sure how much that will be yet though.
How well do you think you scumhunt(Look to find mafia)? Why? Not very well. I haven't been playing for long so I'm still learning the ropes. I think I can sniff out scum, but I'm not entirely confident in my abilities.

Why is it not worth sending you Won? And what happens if we do send you won?

imo:
We shouldn't send him all of our won because we accumulate it at the end of each day and can only transfer it during the day (Unless I read the OP wrong). At night we get to use the items bought with won and can't transfer it.
The coupon thing that Sataric has expires supposedly at the end of Day 2 when everyone still has their own won.

Which leads me to my first question:
When we transfer won to a player during the day, do they receive it automatically, or at the end of the day/cycle?
