LOL U VET ME VIG <3 OTP.Who are you?
This won't surprise anyone lol. I always claim Veteran. Even when I was a simple Townie last game.
<3 my brain is working
I think that the people we need to worry about is the players from previous mafia games. The more aggressive they are, it might possibly mean that they are scum. A lot of people roleclaim to Dwarf(I do the same), so it might be difficult. But that's the point of the game right? I probably just cited already known information, but hey?
I think we should keep an eye on Blu Rose. He seems aggressive this game.
That's my three cents, I'll probably post more when I find more miskates xl
The problem with this is all except three (I think?) people playing have participated in other mafia games.
Also, for future reference, we're not allowed to edit our posts in this thread!
Quite the opposite really, scum tend to be scared of standing out, and there's nothing more obvious than being the outspoken person pointing fingers. Rather than looking at if they are aggressive or not, look at whether or not their behaviour has changed from previous games.<3 my brain is working

Fixed it.
Yeah, Karla, Dolby may just be trolling, but he suicide-bombed me the last game he claimed as bus driver.
I may be trolling or I might not be. Feel free to think that I'm a scared townie, mafia, or the actual bus driver. The bus driver knows my role and his role. But I will confirm this, if I am not the bus driver then I'm in contact with him/her (I know that this post looks weird and makes almost no sense)
Obviously communication is dull right now, but I just want to address Hikari and FireNinja1 at the start. Both of you have a record of being poor contributors. Please step up your game this time around thank you.
Especially you, Hikari, I can tell you that you received at least two votes for WoTC. You got lucky that those votes didn't end up going through. If near exclusion from the game doesn't get you posting, nothing will.
I don't know if you guys are getting this idea that you think you can both trust each other with this conversation or what, but I'd advise against it. And to be honest, the first words that came to my head when I read your conversations thus far is "Scripted, fake, and planned."

This isn't roleplay.
Hello there, kind Dwarven friend.
*Hugs Dwarven friend*
We discussed further on Chatzy, Mr. Over suspicious.
Yes mighty Dwarven Leader! *salutes*
Scripted: Maybe.
Fake: Yes.
Planned: No.
We don't instantly trust each other based off of a roleclaim at the beginning of the game.
Like Lynn with game III, she roleclaimed Townie at the beginning, but turned out to be a Goon. Heck, this precise roleclaim could be either mine--or her--demise later on in the game. We know it is not roleplay, we're just adding a little... color, y'know? We'll stop now, nonetheless.
But, this is just my opinion on things, and, well, I'm not anyone else.
To answer your question: no I am not scum. C:
you fk <3
How do we want to get through Day One lynch? We can look at strong players, weaker players, inactives (I know many people strongly advise against this) & etc? I don't know if people are fed up with the whole "putting strong players in the spotlight". I just want to help the discussion a bit. :c
Players who are likely to fall under the radar this game (based on previous games):
FireNinja1
Hikari
FanousOnTheLoose
River
TheCreeperHugz
This is the first list I'll start off with, I guess. People often forget they are still playing. I know it's still very early & they can still change their posting habits. Neither am I suggesting that any of them get lynched on Day One. ~
If you guys want to start building a list of strong players to keep in the spotlight, I am completely up for it too. At this point I think the names are obvious enough though.
Veterans & Townies need to step up. I always say this, but I feel like people always need to be reminded. Everyone needs to be appearing blue/green to throw off & delay the Mafia as much as possible. Please do not be discouraged just because you got Veteran or Townie.
Just going to say...
This might be stupid,
But I am a Dwarf.
c:
Bad idea. I did that and was lynched immediately thereafter.
I'm not you. >:3
Glad you agree.
It means whatever you want it to be.
In all seriousness, it was my response to SP, who had said that the conversation so far between Beary and I was, "Scripted, fake, and planned."
Just like using the word conspiracies was a coincidence. ;_;
I want to try and contribute more since I didn't get much of a chance last game. :c Anyways, I agree with Kayla. (Like always), putting the better players will hopefully get some discussions going. One I would say is SP: He seemed ready to pounce on someone (Beary and Blu Rose) I know this isn't much, and I don't really think anything of it, but I'm putting it out there anyways.
lol. But I do suggest keeping an eye on Kayla, regardless of her alignment claim. Kayla is a good player but makes a lot of mistakes.
Hikari definitely post this game something other than the recaps. It's rather annoying when someone goes practically the entire game doing the bare minimum.
Definitely keep an eye on the first two and maybe Fanous, though I expect he'll slip up again via miller if he's actually scum.
There's my contribution for day 1 unless I see something else, glhf.
I am going to vote for no lynch unless there is good evidence against the accused. This is because if a mafia member gets accused the town will be gently steered away from that person.
I have made a detective list
Beary509 (weird conversation with blue rose)
Blue Rose (really weird explanation of conversation)
He's probably messing with us. You know he could be lying.
In all honestly though, I recommend keeping a close watch on lurkers. It's pretty obvious that the mafia will try to hide from us, and we don't want to risk lurking mafia killing anyone.
I feel like it would be a waste at this stage to say they're worth investigating simply because of their conversation. Blu Rose was clearly imitating iLoveYou's play style (which is something he started doing after her death in Mafia IV) but the game hadn't even started yet. The post that started their exchange was beary509's post here:
If anyone thinks there is anything worth investigating in that post, then I think it would be best to do so using words rather than wasting a night action on it. Unless, of course, by the end of Day 1 we have an actual reason to pursue her (and/or Blu Rose).

oath2order;2320722found the veteran / someone with guaranteed doctor protection like me in MM2 [B said:iLoveYou[/B] - It's Kayla. Of course we have to keep an eye on her. That said, I remember asking her if she was happy with her role in the IRC and her response was "YES". Now, I know what Kayla likes to play as. She likes being mafia, and being the veteran. She's happy with her role, which leads me to believe she's one of those two.

We need to keep the discussion going, but avoid the spammy one-liners that make up about 90% of this game so far. You have to pressure the scum into coming out and posting, as that's when they will start making mistakes. If nothing is being discussed, or the thread is being spammed to oblivion, there is little reason for mafia to be any different.
