That's really not what I meant when I said that. I wanted to convey the idea that I was trying to find mafia to prove myself in order to get more trust of the town to help us all find more mafia. I'm obviously not solely trying to prove myself. We all have one goal here, and that is to find and kill all the scum (and the cult leader).
Regarding plans, I actually am just not a planner. I don't tend to plan things out ahead of time, because most of the things I do are kinda not something I should share in the thread. I do a lot of behind the scenes work and if I shared some of the tactics I used, the mafia would be prepared.
Everyone lynches town though, you're not going to find someone who only lynches mafia, that's a ridiculous benchmark.
I didn't mean your thoughts on them as Mayor, I meant your thoughts on their alignment and their posts so far.
I simply cannot make a decision. I don't want to vote for someone now and then it bite me in the ass later (I would be butthurt) I will wait a bit, read everything the candidates have to say to one another or even fellow town members and then I will make a decision. I won't vote someone willy nilly.

I take it you think they are scummy for mistrusting people strongly pushing to be mayor? I don't see the connection and I share their concern, which is why I'm getting a bad feeling from Trundle. Statric has barely done anything really. I'm not convinced with Karen, with her sneakiness from the last game, she is a very clever girl and can use that against us time and time again. You never really know where you stand with her. I won't lie, having her town aligned would benefit town a lot.
Just going to post some of my current thoughts about those running for mayor:
I will not be voting for Superpenguin as he is clearly biased against certain players, and I don't think he can work well with the people he doesn't like or finds annoying.
I am not keen on voting for Trundle either, as he perhaps lacks attention to detail (like Jeremy brought up with him reading his role name incorrectly and getting himself killed because of it. I also don't like his methods of 'role-claim first, talk later'. The first time he spoke to me in Supernatural mafia he sent me a mass PM asking for my role, offering nothing from his side, and I chose to ignore it for those reasons.
I don't want to cast my vote yet since there's still a fair bit of time for more discussions, but at the moment I am leaning towards Jeremy - he seems competent and fair, and also approachable. I also think Lunatic would be a good mayor, I found her pleasant to work with and insightful in Supernatural mafia, but I don't want her to do a job she doesn't really want either.

No one asked you to go to VMs for evidence :} but really, I didn't think that was game changing and you guys would be so mosey, so I won't do it again.
Anyways, you're all overthinking this. Get to the point. Who would be a huge loss to town if they died? Who is good at finding scum? That's pretty much all you need to think about. And I think Trundle suits this best - granted, that he's town aligned.

So I'd like you to explain your post where you said you didn't want a strong player to be elected. Your latest posts don't quite match up with that.
At first I didn't want a strong player to be mayor, because if they were scum it would make things significantly harder for us. That was my only concern. Now that posts have accumulated I do think Trundle is town aligned, but I could be wrong.
Placing my vote for Karla. I agree with everything that Felorenna said about the other candidates. They are all poor for one reason or another and I won't be voting for them.
I'd also be okay with a Jeremy win, but Karla is the stronger player of the two so I'm voting for him.

Do you mind explaining why? And don't you think it's weird people are passionately pushing for him to be mayor despite having any good reason for it? And if mafia is able to get one of their own into that position, it would help them immensely, so I imagine they would be desperate to do so.
Hmm? I'm only voting for him because when he's town he manages to lynch scum somehow, and he sounds like his usual town style now. I don't know about why other people are voting for him. I don't think mafia would passionately push for him to be mayor though. That would just expose all of them if he flips scum. But now that I think of it, something he said in the IRC to me threw me off so I'll reconsider a bit...
~@ KarlaKGB - I don't quite understand why you are so bloodthirsty. I felt that the people who pushed really hard for the position of Mayor early on would have done so regardless of role given to them, so being hasty with making a decision and electing one of them as Mayor before giving everyone a chance to speak seemed foolish to me. You may call that cautious if you wish, but I think that we have all seen what harm the hasty "bandwagoning" of votes can sometimes accomplish, and it can have dire results that only Scum desires. I'm not going to apologize for wanting other people to speak up before making my decision. The fact that you seemed more than happy to have me killed about one hour into the game after I had made two modest posts speaks volumes about your playstyle and once I do die and flip town that'll prove that YOU are either scum or incompetent.
I feel that Trundle seems more town-oriented now that he has made additional posts, and I am not against voting for him - But I still feel that some other strong and experienced player that isn't hunting for the position so much is the superior choice. I would for example be tempted to vote for Lunatic, Jeremy, or for Tom if either of them desires to campaign properly. I said that before, and I'm sticking by it. Trundle will still get my vote before you, Cory, or PurplPanda though.
