Okay so I am awake now and want to post out any suspicions I have in case for some reason I die tonight.
Firstly - inactives. We've been busy with Moron + Aerious and now 8floor so much that we're glossing over the people that have been completely silent or haven't contributed much past one liners.

Quiet, unusually so according to Sataric. Most of Mewx3's posts have been about catching up on the thread or not understanding something. They said they were trying to understand their role, which to me doesn't rule out the fact that they could have gotten Alien or EXALT and are trying to pass as town by putting it in our heads that they're blue and obviously important. (Much like when people begin their posts with "as a vanilla green innocent townie")

Essentially has repeated what people have said, staying under the heat entirely. "Pretty sure" Aerious is town. To me, their posting seemed random and fragmented with no depth whatsoever, like it was JUST enough for us to remember them posting. I'm still relatively unsure about LoveMcQueen's alignment, so that's why I'm bringing their name up. Don't want them to slip by.

C r y s t a l has had ONE post of substance this entire game, nearly everything else has been one liners. They did and were willing to vote for Capella, but that doesn't absolve them of guilt because mafia sacrifices their weak links all the time when they get caught (e.g. Cory getting sacrificed all the time when he started playing.) The lack of actual contribution has me raising my eyebrow.

Ahhh Dolby my favorite inactive. He is incredibly dangerous when not posting. He skated by in MM4 by not posting and won the game for his scum team (that and Oath was a doofus). When Dolby is quiet, it's never a good thing. I would actually put him very high up on the talk or get lynched list. If more blues die tonight, consider taking him out as he does call himself the "genuine bluensiper". Dolby has posted a grand total of FOUR times. He is the last person on earth I would expect to be shocked by post quality considering he usually posts one-liners. I would suggest putting Dolby up for lynch directly after the Moron/Aerious situation is solved.

Has been disappearing and reappearing only when accused. They haven't really defended themselves at all other than a promise to change their silent playstyle - which did not happen. They said that they played the same way last mafia when they "had a good role", but again people, this doesn't mean that you're suddenly innocent. I would like to hear ANY thoughts from ShinySandwich about people they find suspicious. I'm not buying the whole "I don't want to accuse people if I'm not 100% sure they're scum".

Okay now for current discussions as well. Notice how Aerious and Moron both went seemingly silent when Capella was killed? I don't really remember Aerious EVER shutting her mouth in any mafia, she was constantly accusing people of being scum and being in their faces. Seems strange to me that she vehemently defended Moron and then fell off of the face of the earth. If Aerious doesn't actually get shot tonight, I would still consider her or Moron for lynch tomorrow.

Reading what people do in previous games is how you pick up on the slip ups. Playing consistent is not going to benefit you at all because as Ashtot said, we can't tell if you're scum or not. If you're able to analyze your behavior easily, you can pick out flaws and correct them. That is a poor argument for why you could be innocent. You're supposed to assert your innocence if you're actually innocent. Point out flaws in other's posting. If you are quiet continually, prepare to be called out every single game. The quiet ones always have mafia sprinkled in them because they don't want to out themselves in the thread accidentally.

I have not heard anything from Feloreena so she is probably still out - I think that the day post will still be up tonight but it is getting very late here in Europe so it is possible that it will not make an appearance until tomorrow morning. I am going to get some sleep - Good night!

Alright! got distracted by League with an IRL friend.
I don't know how I feel about 8floor, I kind of understand what he's saying to a degree. I think that his consistency mimics Sataric's consistency, which isn't a bad thing. If you can contribute and play well each time, I don't think you necessarily need sporadic personas to enjoy Mafia and help town.

I think the biggest thing with the 8floor situation is the transition from playing IRL in a room full of people vs playing on boards. At least that's the reason that it resonates with me. While I definitely agree different roles basically require you to adapt your playstyle, there's generally a pretty centralized part of your playstyle that remains constant. I believe that this is what he's referring to. Judging by post quality alone, I don't see a problem with the way he's playing when we have inactives, spammers, and ragers present. Of course this isn't me talking on the nature of whether or not 8floor is scum, but just the idea of the whole "playstyle" aspect of online Mafia.

Alice is kinda active as town, though how she's playing right now reminds me of how she was playing in Mean Girls. She was active for day 1 and then slowly drifted off the radar, which was kind of weird considering she was basically a confirmed miller. So I don't know tbh.
I agree with Mew and Shiny. Shiny is active in the IRC, he plays BGO all the time and is in Smash Camp but doesn't do much here. At least when he was a blue in Person of Interest he posted and stated his opinions - this game he's been putting no effort in.
As for Dolby, he's usually pretty quiet. And dangerous, I'll agree with that. Though I find it kind of weird how in Bird Mafia suddenly he was very active as town, and was making up plans and everything. When he was in Mean Girls he didn't post that much since he was killed off pretty quick, but he was making cases on Oath and everything. I say that he's probably back to his scum playstyle.

I just want to point out the fact that Mew claimed blue discretely in the thread at the beginning of the game, I then pointed it out a while afterwards. Mew hasn't died, and if she doesn't die tonight, I think it's safe to say that she's scum.
