In logic's sense yes, but the other 2 people might get lucky and get diamonds fast

It's obvious to me that town is being spoon-fed by town. Of course mafia would try and deflect attention onto harmless third parties, so as to keep attention of themselves and get one of us lynched. That will be much more evident once one of us is killed.

No, you couldn't - You had to pretend to be town because otherwise people would be suspicious of you, and you'd eventually get lynched. You went in to this game with a scum mindset right from the beginning. Your goal was to deceive and lie your way through the game, and I assume that originally you had not intended to claim either, but did so when put under the scope.
If you are telling the truth about being removed from the game once all the diamonds are collected, and nothing else negative happens to town in the same process, and the game simply continues on as if you were never really a part of it, then you guys collecting the diamonds would essentially be a disaster for town either way. We'd lose three votes and three people counting towards towns numbers (if you aren't still lying to us..) instantly. That doesn't make you very pro-town. In fact, if it comes down to the end of the line, you might even decide to go "Okay Mafia, we'll side with you!" because you're annoyed at town mistrusting you all game long, even though it's our only logical choice.

Oh boy, threats. We really don't have a reason to trust you, and threats aren't really getting you anywhere with us either. Regardless of if you stop talking to town, killed off, or reach your objective, we're going to lose players counted towards town regardless. If we have a DT, I think at least one of them should be inspected, because killing them off would be a waste of vig shots/lynches if they're simply useless third parties. I don't see a valid way they could side with mafia in a no PM game aside from being anti-town and interfering with due process.

Well after all the lies can you blame us? If you guys just came out with that from the get go you'd be in less of mess right now.
Not all of us went along with your original thief claim to begin with, but at least you guys wouldn't be viewed with complete and total suspicion of every player not in your thief cult.
