The sad thing is that even though I think you’re scummy for pretty much writing off me putting myself in as scummy, and if I get a pass as non-AI I may have to pick you because you’re the only one who’s spoken besides me

If scum is going to pick succeed either way, the first round literally doesn?t matter and who?s in it doesn?t matter as well. So the only motivation for scum to pick themselves is for the purpose of doing he only unexpected result and causing it to fail. I'm not causing you to be hostile. You are being overly hostile. You practically lead with doubting me, not because of anything that I did, but something that I was going to do, sending myself, while declaring that if I was sent, that I was trying to gain trust. I didn't start this, you started this. That wasn't a slight suspicion, that was preempting a pass, which honestly kinda makes me think that you could be teamed with Punchy so you're worried that neither of you will be in it after I announced support for Toads.

But you should have been able to see that I expected every leader to send themselves in in my first post. I literally picked Toads as potentially being sent because he'd be leader last and we wouldn't have an oppertunity to get information from him, and you're treating it like it's unnatural.

I mean, the way that you're describing it that's broken

There are two scum, so they could cause a tie every single time by voting no, so because the leader can't vote, the resistance already effectively lost voting majority to the spies

Let's say that there are 5 players: A,B,C,D, and E, with D and E being the scum

If A proposes in round 5, containing himself, B, and C, all town, D and E can stop town from winning by voting no every single time, even if both B and C vote yes because it ends up being a tie. And the same is true for all other rounds. If scum gets the leadership, they make a team with themselves in it and the resistance still has no way to put out a pure team

Bottom line, either leaders need a vote OR they should be assumed to vote yes on their own proposals

so I guess we just need to figure out whose the bad people? resistance is town, spies are bad. I read over the whole, uh, argument too
and I understand ness's position, Dolby could be very well a spy and looking to get town cred by sending himself and clearing himself...
And I understand Dolby being a little upset that Ness framed it as the only possibility when it is just one option. I guess I'm ok with this plan, because I'm super cool and great on road trips so lets go on a mission baby. And also, shouldn't town just send the same people each mission if we clear the first one, then we at least narrow down a bad guy or we easily win

Toads, if you're high right now I would actually accept that as a valid excuse for your tone in this (because this is not town Toads, honestly it is barely similar to scum Toads to, it's far to mellow), or don't understand that scum could do a mission pass if they want.

This is way WAY to concilliatory for me to think that this is town indicative. It looks way to much like you're trying to play both sides here and actually it makes me think that Ness (as well as his rage quit) may be town here. But holy **** does this ping. You are trying to sympthatize with both of us without taking a side or stating an opinion on either of us and I am NOT in any way comfortable with that

The tone here just breaks down to. It's like you are trying to be friendly and put out good vibes intentionally

Initial thoughts,

I like Evan's thought process on RQS, and while yes it is kinda dumb to base anything on it... it nailed us in Steven Universe 2.0 because we way overthought and mulled over our answers a lot, so I think its good to take it serious. I think its funny that a lot of people decided to just glaze over it or not answer it when it was used so much late in that game.

Kirby as always sounds scummy but I'm not gonna scum lean him for a while because i always seem to think he is scum

Dolby town leaning people is typical of him and I don't see it as town or scum leaning tbh. I scum lean the people who sheep his ideas with little backing rather than make their own thoughts up.

Ness doesn't strike me as his scum-meta, its usually more dramatic than what I've seen

I know my Zendel after the last few games and if they are mafia I will crap myself

In Francise Wars, yeah, I could've pulled up a more recent game and I will tomorrow, but he takes notes without coming to a definete conclusion, preferring to wait on the sidelines. He literally states that everybody is null, and that is not normal of town him. This is exactly what he does in his first post with me and Ness, trying to symphtize with our position while leaving his options open on what side that he'll take

At present, I would advise that everyone vote no on the me/Toadsworthy team I put forward

I will say my summer at camp has made me more mellow and i had to see both sides of an argument because I often had to mediate for counselors...

if you want my opinion I actually think sending you on the first mission sounds like a bad idea. The first I read it before the argument I was like "ew that doesn't feel right." but then i went all camp mode and felt it was more necessary to help mend yours and ness's argument.

I'm not high... you prick... i last drank around 9:30pm, so i've sobered up too.

And if anything that posts sounds like me setting up so that you can't just make everyone believe in one thought process once we get a result after the first mission. I liked Ness's telling the public that idea, but i don't think it was executed in the best way and your discussion clearly didn't work very well.

Literally less than 12 hours into Woodpines, as town.

Toads does seem to make similar notes as town, but he at least comes to conclusions on them

tbh I actually find it Town leaning for you... Rune scum would be smart enough to wait to get someone lynched, not start suggesting a no lynch

Looking at the beginning in talking about the mafia team set-up, I honestly don't think anyone of those people would be on mafia... when I'm on scum team I try to avoid talking about it because it feels weird. The way Rune talked about it openly and is now suggesting this NL, I town read him the strongest

Whereas in APM he spent the whole of D1 chucking shade at me and Ness, though I think he was more motivated to stick his neck out that game due to the D1 Mayor race and perks. Regardless, he would never say that he scumleaned us in that game, or say anything until we basically became confirmed, but he was constantly throwing shade at us and describing us as "not sitting right"

I'm mostly running because you and Ness as president doesn't sit well with me, if a better candidate comes along I'll be more than happy to say vote for them

Who do you want to be President? Uh, myself. I'm definitely campaigning for presidency, I'm very level-headed and easy to talk to, attentive to TBT even when I'm at clinic/school and privy on people trying to bs me. If we won't even consider me, then not Dolby. Electing him last time didn't help anything... I would say Vanessa is loyal and just an all-around good person.

My agenda is to be president and I don't trust you or Dolby... so what else but run myself, scared of some competition?

I find his stance in this game different as people have said. It could all be an act, he really wants the presidency for some reason and I don't like it. Maybe I'm thinking that the role has more power than it seems, but still I don't like it. The original put down of me seemed like he was poking at me to make himself look better. If I had to vote you or him, I would vote for you for sure. But I hate when you play mediator like this too, because its your strat to get town cred a lot of the time.

Stands out as the one definitive read on a non-clear person Toads made early D1 as scum in APM, but also served to keep Punchy from influence

APM is honestly so unique that I'm wondering if it's valid meta

But Toads throughout APM has the same tone as the last post, concilliatory, but failing to come to a conclusion. One thing that I noticed is that his post this game seems to be null on the side of borderline townleaning us, while in APM it seems to be null on the borderline of scumleaning. I see FAR more similarities in Toads last post to his null reading scum game and I think that the difference could be because he's in a better position due to him being in my grouping

Regardless though, his tone and method for making reads are a near perfect match in that one, and stunningly honestly identical to the one from Francise Wars that I pulled up. DO NOT WANT HIM IN A GROUP TODAY

The one thing that's kinda (but not really) holding me back is the attitude, he seems really happy-go-lucky which is odd for him as either alignment
