Mafia TBT Mini Mafia [Game Over/Town Win]

FoxWolf, RIP. FireNinja, don't RIP.

Karla, that is a very well-thought plan. I just hope one of the new players didn't get the role, because that might mean disaster.

New players can be just as good if not better than older players.

If no one was hit and saved, it would also help to abduct one of the main suspects for a lynch. That way, you can find out if they are actually Mafia or no.

We'll just have to assume anyone released is innocent, because mafiaso would be killed.

That's kind of biased? I'm sure new players can be much better since they don't know previous games much and they aren't so biased when it comes to opinions.

Alright, Town is in a very good spot this game thanks to the Bartender. My plan is very similar to the plan I proposed in Mafia III, but with the Bartender, it becomes even stronger.

When someone gets hit and saved, they should publicly claim immediately. Bartender abducts them, protecting them during the night. Now, where the plan in the previous game fell apart was that there was no way for a Detective to check the person being incarcerated. But with the Bartender in this game, he checks them at the same time as keeping them safe. What's even better is that the Bartender doesn't even need to reveal himself to get this information out to town. He just has to killing if Mafia, and set free if innocent. That person, now confirmed innocent, can now act as a figurehead for town.

Also, the medic who saved the person should claim to that person, and that person alone. There is little risk that they are claiming to Mafia, because the medic will be notified if he made a save. If Mafia wanted to fake this, they would actually have to hit themselves, and take the risk that the medic was actually saving the person.

All in all, Bartender is incredibly strong, and I hope whoever it is knows what they're doing with the role.

The risk here is that we have to deal with Mafia interference. Anyone can fake claim a hit, especially the Godfather since they know who they are targeting and can just jump at the first claim (considering they appear as another role through inspection). The Bartender seriously needs to consider the fact that there is a Godfather ( I doubt there are two, honestly ) in play.

I know that, SP, but it's a new role for everyone and a new player to the game might not know exactly how they can use the role to the Town's advantage unless they've watched the old games.

Of course, they would only abduct if there were two (or more) main suspects for the lynch. One would get lynched at the end of Day, and the other would get kidnapped at daybreak.

Karla: Very good plan. Let's hope the plan is well executed.

Anybody else have some sort of new plan?

The role hasn't appeared in the previous games.

I meant how they're supposed to help the Town, not with the role in specifics. My point is that I just hope the role went to someone who will know how to use it. It's vital in the Town's success, but can only be used twice per game.

Judging by player numbers, I would say that there is only one medic in the game. With no veterans, the only way someone can be hit and saved is if a medic was on them. With only one medic likely in the game, if that medic sees someone claiming they were saved, it's 90% of the time the Godfather. Now, the problem is, how does the medic get that counterclaim out, and how does he make himself believable?

The moral of the story: Make up your own points instead of being lazy and restating. If you are restating, at least quote!

Obviously, we don't have much info, let alone any, to go of off. We're going to have to use what we have to figure out who to lynch. In this case, we use our posts.

Maybe I'm stupid, but going by posts isn't much either. It's mostly just spam with occasional longer, more well thought out posts. I suppose the first day is always hard. Argh~

Of course it won't be much. I'm just saying we need to use what we have to consider who to lynch.

Don't be afraid to vote, either. If someone starts racking up votes they are going to start talking like crazy. you can change your vote later.

I'm going to read the first Mafia, they didn't have Mayor/Sheriff then and it was a regular lynch day, like Mini Mafia is. How exactly did they lynch on the first Day? I'm going to go have a look-see.

Basically, they lynched Ace (Riley) who kept on talking too much. We shouldn't follow after him.

They lynched one of the spammers, who is 99% of the time going to be innocent. In that game, he was the Doctor. Don't do this.

I have been doing some pre-game planning, and I noticed something:

Whether or not we lynch a Mafia member, the KP will stay the same, not including Bartenders and Paramedics.

4 members / 2 = 2 KP
4 members - 1 lynched = 3 members / 2 = 1.5 rounded up = 2 KP
2 KP = 2 KP
This means we have to step up our game, and have the next lynch execute a mafia member. Of course, Vigs can step in and try and shoot a Mafia member, but early in the game is a risky move.
