Mafia TBT Mini Mafia III: A Terrible Fate [Game Over/Town Win]

WHy do yo trust BlueLeaf is innocent?
We both know that he isn't scum. I have not seen scum chat open, and we know each others' roles. You seem very still on lynching BlueLeaf; you can lynch him if you'd like since he is clearly allowing us to lynch him.

Tom and Fanous have offered contrasting advice for vigilantes: whether to use or save the shot. I personally think that it depends on the player who has the role how they should act. Strong players should be less hesitant about using the shot to ensure they get a chance to actually use it. Other players should consider saving it unless they're determined that (a) they'll die tonight or (b) their shot will have a positive impact on town.

Anyone notice this? Tina wanted strong players to shoot early, but weak players to hold off. And then we see that weaker players died last night. Perhaps this was Tina's way of getting rid of the vigs without them shooting.

Keep in mind, mafia just has to get past this lynch and next lynch and they win if vigs do not get involved. Obviously the mafia would want to get the vigs out.

We only have 4 more days to take out all of the mafia. This means that we have to take out all 3 mafia in 4 days. This would be unless a vigilante makes a correct decision. Then we would have to get 2 mafia out in 4 days. Either way the odds are not in our favor, so this vote is very important, it even could determine if the mafia wins or not. I am not scum, and if you don't believe me, investigate me tonight.

I've decided to vote Champ, and this quote, which I will now dissect, is my reasoning.

In red: The first half of the quote is merely simple logic, which anyone can figure out in a matter of seconds. It could also just be something to extend his post out such that it looks like he's actually saying something.

In blue: Well, yes, this is very true, but quite frankly, we all know this. Tom even pointed this out earlier in Day 1.
You get evidence by being deceitful or analyzing posts. Plus with a time restraint, the odds are never in our favor.

In green: A scum would overemphasize that they aren't scum, right? And inspecting you would mean keeping you alive for one night, which we can't do, because scum would then possibly be able to hold 3 KP. Which isn't good.

Also, you seem like a godfather to me, because Kayla did this in Game II: when elections were running iirc she said that she was open to people inspecting her.

As a member of Town, if I do get elected I ENCOURAGE any detectives to inspect me right away. I am not afraid from inspection because I am a member of Town, so I know I will not be of harm to the Town.
Just found the quote. I did remember correctly.

Has anybody noticed that Bellbringer is defending Blueleaf a lot. I know that they are brothers, but in mafia that does not matter. I know that he has apparently "seen" his brothers computer and that there is no scum chat on his computer. But, he could just be saying that. Also, before that comment why he trusted Blueleaf he really did not have any opinions and did not speak up for anything. He only spoke up when he thought that someone he "trusts" in the game was in danger. It is possible that both Bellbringer and blueleaf are scum and "trust" each other because they know they both are in the mafia. I say today we lynch Bellbringer and if his blood is red lynch blueleaf tomorrow.

The "If so-so is scum, then so is so-so" theory has never worked in past games. And in a game with only three mafia players, I don't see it being proven this game either.

Way to go for putting attention off of yourself.
I have no benefit from lying about BlueLeaf besides keeping a Town mate alive.. We have lost so much Townies so far and I want to keep our numbers up.
You are just acting desperate and are not taking awareness of what many people have said about you.

I was thinking along the lines that a strong player would have a better chance of striking mafia with their hit than a weaker player would simply due to the analytical skill involved. With this time constraint the vigilante(s) shouldn't just shoot blindly.

I have placed my vote for Champ2749.

Although some of his posts in this thread could simply be newbie mistakes, his behaviour in the IRC last night was more than questionable:

[00:08:38] <oath2order> it be sooner if I get last action
[00:08:59] <Tom29193> Harass the last player
[00:09:16] <oath2order> i did
[00:09:40] <Cory> is that person online?.

That final line was the first thing to catch my attention. I don't see why a town player would even think to ask that. It doesn't really provide any information: they don't even know whether that action is red or blue. However, assuming he's scum, he would know whether or not the mafia had already sent in their night actions. If this is true, then I think it's safe to say that he was trying to work out the identity of a blue player.

He didn't just drop it after this either. Twenty-five minutes later he asked the host again:

[00:32:45] <Cory> oath did the person still not pm you

And, finally, another two hours later he again pesters the host.

[02:42:04] <Cory> did the last person still not send it in?
[02:42:13] <Superpenguin> what last person?
[02:42:22] <Superpenguin> Are you referring to a scummate, you scum?

I've a feeling Champ2479 was keeping an eye on the 'online user' list here on TBT (or even the thread itself) the whole time in order to try and figure out a blue role. I didn't think to check his online activity, so I've unfortunately nothing to back this up with, and I left shortly after that final message (I went to bed at 3am) so I don't know if he continued to behave this way until the Day 2 post went up.

Something I recall coming up, but didn't save, was his public speculation on another player having an action role. I think Tom was also there? I'm not sure how wise it is to share that person's name in case this was exactly what he was doing. If he dies and flips red then I'll share it because no doubt this is something the mafia would know already.

Also, note that the times shown here are in GMT. The Day 2 post went up at 5am my time.

Way to move attention off of yourself. PLEASE quit dodging questions. And more importantly, do NOT ignore PM's, as shown earlier in the thread. Your behavior on the IRc as shown by SP and Tina is just strange.

Votes need to be removed from Champ2947 before he reaches majority.

I have never defended Champ2947. In fact I wanted to get either him or FireNinja1 lynched because I feared one of them may be hiding a red role.

Just please consider removing your votes for now.

Mind telling us why? I may consider it if I actually knew why you want us to remove our votes.

This would be hurting, more than anything. I really just need some people to take votes off of him before someone (Mafia) causes majority on him. There are other ways to prove his alignment, that were brought up in the IRC once he reached 6 votes.

I'll take it off in the meanwhile, but this is obviously subject to change.

I'll remove my vote for now but I'd still like to hear what Champ has to say about the points made.

I am still not 100% sure who I'm voting for. Bellbringer, could you please explain why you think townies are not that big of a loss. I am asking this because you you said this in two of your posts and I disagree with you at this moment. If you are able to give a good explanation I will not be suspicious of you.

So the other players can say it and I can't? Wait, didn't you say something similar?
She says she is disappointed with her role, this could mean that she is either telling the truth, which would mean she would most likely be a normal clock townie and not have much importance so we could lynch her. Or, the thing I am worried about is that she is trying to get the focus off of her possibly because she is a mafia member. I was not bandwagoning and I was not doing it as a joke like Superpenguin and Ashtot were.
Are you disagreeing with yourself?
I mean that while we do lose fellow Townie members, we still have the important blue roles. It's basically a double-edged sword.
You could also stop avoiding questions and answer them.

Like I said, I was one of the ones who actually wanted to get him (Champ2947) lynched today. The fact that I am now asking you all to consider removing at least some votes, should indicate that there is enough reason behind all of this.

We have a few hours to actually reach majority on someone.

I really think we should take the risk and lynch a strong player today. We should trim that list and if they so choose to do a strong player massacre on Night Two then we should pay attention to who is left. Obviously this leaves room for a lot of Mafia interference.

I don't know just how likely it is that there is at least one red role on the strong player list:

STRONG PLAYERS (OR CONSIDERED)
- Tina
- Justin
- Tom
- Superpenguin
- iLoveYou

but I have a good feeling there is at least one.

Superpenguin & Tom & I are okay with voting for Tina. This makes me nervous because what if Tom or Superpenguin are the ones hiding the red role. I don't know what the Detective has been doing, but we're all lost here. If you made any inspections last night, please try to tell someone to get the message out to others.

I do not recall anyone else saying that other than you and me. Also, I forgot I said that, I was just wondering. I'm still unsure who to vote for though...

Just found the quote. I did remember correctly.
How does the second quote compare to the third quote? Tom isn't asking to be Inspected and we don't have any framers this game, the only thing that he has to worry about is being the Miller

Speaking of millers, it appears that your usertitle says attendee of carnivals.

Hmm, the Miller this game is called carnival attendee, now it says in the first post that carnival attendees aren't told that they are carnival attendees. Basically, there is no way that you could know that you're a Miller! I think that I can conclude from this piece of information that you are a goon this game.

If you know that fireninja had this usertitle before the game started you should post here, I'll just wait for people to say if they had to determine if we have another "Miller" roleclaim, or if this is a coincidence.

.

Wow! And who's the person who started usertitle roleclaims?
