Mafia knows my role, so I'm just going to put everything out there:

Alright, plan for tonight.

First off, Doctors - If the mafia knew you were going to be protecting specific people they'd obviously just not target them. At the same time, it's likely there are some good mafia players this game, so just try to put yourself in the mind of a mafia player and protect who you think the mafia might shoot. You're all good players, I'm sure you know what to do. I do think Kayla and I will be targeted tonight, and the mafia would have already considered us for sure.

Notice how Trundle includes Kayla along with himself. Now look at this next part.

Alright, game is going slow at the moment, but there is no denying that we need someone to lynch soon. I believe the two main candidates that have been brought up so far are Jer and iLoveYou, and Kuma's name has been thrown around a few times here and there.

Jer - shorts one-liners, nothing valuable, usually has at least 1 okay post at this point in the game, probably not worth lynching someone over, though he was defended by PurplPanda
iLoveYou - labelled as suspicious for encouraging a lynch of Kuma (so did I), had good reasoning, but called out by Horus and ProfGallows
Kuma - usually has posts that just recap or share her thoughts which are the exact same as the town's majority thoughts, therefore always looks like she is hiding something, and just isn't an asset to the town other than her number

All in all, the lynching of a mafia member doesn't give us much information, especially when PurplPanda's posts were made to avoid being looked at in the first place. I want to ask Jer and Kuma their opinion of who they would lynch today if they were king.

Does this mean that we can take Jeremy, iLoveYou, and Kuma off the list? Note that Trundle is sort of supporting iLoveYou, as well as the encouraged lynch of Kuma.

I do want to call out Prin here, considering she just accused both Ashtot and I of being mafia. While that is unlikely, it is possible, but it's quite obvious that so far in the game we have worked together, and we ended up lynching PurplPanda, who was scum, on Day 1. If I hadn't brought PurplPanda up and Ashtot didn't lynch him, that would probably give you quite an easy way to accuse us of being mafia, but your accusation is very flawed. While it's important to consider all possibilities, you should primarily stick to possibilities that are more rational.

So, Trundle claims to have led Ashtot to lynch scum. Hmm, suspicious. I do think that the entire Prin vs. Ashtot thing is also tied in with the past Mafia game and roleplay threads though.

Again, sure, inactivity isn't the best criteria for lynching but you should remember that Mino is in the game. And he claims to be looking at the thread, but really he hasn't contributed a lot.

Hasn't posted once since he replaced Tina, I believe. So don't forget Dolby.

Trundle didn't lead me to lynch PurplPanda, there were quite a few people in the IRC I was talking to that helped me come to my decision. At this point there's no reason to reiterate the fact that I'm not proven.

The SECOND Justin died, I knew to look directly into the IRC Chat where we discussed the lynch. I felt like Mafia infiltrated our IRC Chat channel. Why would I bring this up if I were Mafia myself?

Justin was amongst one of us discussing the PurplPanda lynch. I don't know if that had anything to do with his death? Although he showed more interest in lynching River over PurplPanda.

People in the chat: Me, Trundle & Superpenguin. I don't remember if Oath2Order was there. Again, I don't know how much of his death may have been influenced by his participation in the lynch chat to help Ashtot.

If I were Mafia, I would know Trundle was the Godfather & I would know not to bring this up to the Town as it would place unnecessary attention on us BOTH.

Yes, I was working with him, only on the Day One lynch. Justin, Trundle & I chose to put River's name against PurplPanda's.

I never roleclaimed to Trundle. I never spoke to him besides who would make a suitable Day One lynch.

No. I am saying someone who participated in the IRC lynch chat may be Mafia who infiltrated the chat to target Justin in specific. His wanting to lynch River, was just his final conclusion.

Then again, I don't know how specific of a target Justin actually is. The IRC lynch chat may not have had anything to do with his death?

I wouldn't say take them off the scum list entirely, just remove them from suspicion for the time being. Mafia can and will sacrifice their own to protect a few.

I'd definitely like to keep an eye on Ashtot. A relatively new-ish player with about three games under his belt lynches scum on the first day, something that hasn't happened in all the nine games we've played. He then accuses Trundle of being scum, and then he flips red. I don't know if this is the greatest coincidence in the world or what, but I want to keep an eye on him.

I definitely also want to look at Dolby. He was mafia in MM3, and he was quiet for most of the game. And guess what? He pretty much got all of your roles around night two/three, if I recall correctly. I'd say mafia struck lucky (for them) on Farobi. Interesting how they'd for for Farobi when he was under the suspicion of quite a few town members. Could we possibly have Dolby guessing peoples' roles again?

I wouldn't say take them off the scum list entirely, just remove them from suspicion for the time being. Mafia can and will sacrifice their own to protect a few.

My hunch was heavily influenced by what Minties told me, but really it was off of the other suspicions that were voiced in the IRC.

It was pretty much a 50/50 between Kayla and SP and I chose SP. If anyone had come to me and discussed it then my decision might have changed. But since nobody did, we got what happened.

1) River - Trundle wanted to lynch her on Day One. She should be Town.

2) iLoveYou - Trundle publicly admitted to working with her. If he & I were both Mafia, he would never do this. I guarantee you I am Town aligned, although I know I have yet to prove myself. Since the Godfather is dead, feel free to inspect me? Otherwise take my word & use the DT on another player who has a chance of actually being Mafia.

3) Horus + Kuma - Should be Town. Would Trundle really sacrifice 2/4 potential Mafia names through the following post:

I'd say either lynch Kuma, PurplPanda, or Horus. Horus is obviously going to end up being the biggest "distraction" this game, which is exactly what we don't want as town. As we've already seen, Horus wants to lynch people based off their favorite pony.

If Horus were Mafia with Trundle though, he'd be someone to sacrifice in my opinion. LOL. The question is would he be more likely to be sacrificed alongside PurplPanda though? I kinda doubt it.

4) ProfGallows - I have a feeling he is Town aligned, since he + Trundle were publicly challenging eachother in the thread. Of course this could have easily been an act? I feel like our safest bet with someone like ProfGallows would be to have him inspected.

After narrowing it down ..

Chances are another red player is on this list:

- Oath2Order
- Karen
- Mino
- Dolby

I don't think it's in any way risky to make someone like oath2order king, because if you were thinking from a mafia perspective, becoming king and lynching town is a good way to put negative attention on yourself. I think most mafia members are going to try to stay away from becoming king in this game, although a mafia securing a kingly position would be the best way for them to prevent any more mafia deaths. So, Kingmaker, make your choice, and we need the vigilantes to be really thinking and working to try to find scum.

Actually wanted to mention something but forgot to.

River came in the IRC when her name was brought up for a possible lynch and started daring me to lynch her. This could be two possible things. She could be the hero and thought I was mafia so she thought she could take one down with her. Or she's mafia and she knew if she threatened me like that I wouldn't consider her.

Even though Trundle brought up her name, he had no idea he was going to die this early. Same goes for any other person he was suggesting to lynch. His play could have been if any of those names were killed that it would put him in the right light giving him the advantage for the rest of the game.

Glad you think so. If any of the detectives feel this is necessary go ahead. I admit that my reasoning behind lynching SP wasn't the best but I really didn't have a lot to go off of other than a few opinions.
