which means... The Bellflowers win the minigame! obviously. this should surprise no one.
this means bellflowers get +10 coins, and every other team gets +2. yay money!

the spaces moved by each player are as follows:

• Jolly Redds: 4932 - 4932 = 0 -> 0 spaces moved
• The Bellflowers: 5516 - 5109 = 407 -> 41spaces moved
• Froggy Chairs: 5065 - 4634 = 431 -> 44 spaces moved
• Blues Clues: 4687 - 4285 = 402 -> 41 spaces moved

events that happened:

• Jolly Redds have not moved, and so, they remain on the (!) space... which means they get taxed again! what a shame.
  The 2 coins they got from the minigame are allocated to Froggy Chairs and Blue's Clues because i'm fair. see? not rigged!
• The Bellflowers move 47 spaces, grabbing a star, and then landing on a Blue Space, not quite reaching the next star location. see!! totally not rigged!!!
• Froggy Chairs move 44 spaces and then land on a red space, losing 6 coins (or rather, 2, since that's all they have)
• Blue's Clues moves 41 spaces, grabbing a star! They then pass by the star again, but are too poor to afford it (because they only have 1 coin and it costs 15 what a shame), before landing on a blue space and getting 6 more coins.

if i messed up any numbers/positions dont tell me because man im counting way more than i want to for this

which brings us to minigame #2, brought to you in part by:

2v2 Minigame: TBT plays pokemon
(Purple + Blue vs Red + Green)

The rules are simple! Above, we have yet another board.

• The character must move 12 spaces ↓ and 12 spaces →​
• Purple and Red get to control ↓
• Blue and Green get to control →
• Each participant can pick how many spaces (between 1 and 6) they want to move in the given direction
• The team that's closest to the trophy wins!

Just like before, submit your numbers here!
if theres no entries from a team, i'll just make the number of spaces moved in that direction match the other one (e.g. 5→ gets matched with 5 ↓. just trust me.)

Results come out tomorrow! probably. i'm getting my vaccine then and who knows how much i feel like working on this afterwards

hello, and welcome to day 3! where i tallied things early because i am going to pass out at some point and in the next few days my arm is gonna die

ANYWAYS! Minigame results!!

there were a bunch of responses, but all from the green and purple teams. which is a bit weird, but that makes my life easier.

• Green: 6 + 3 + 3 + 2 + 3 = 17
• Purple: 3 + 2 + 6 = 11

12 was needed to land on the trophy -- while neither team got to that exactly, purple got pretty close! and so...

Purple wins! again. obviously. i swear i didn't cheat.​

Turn 3

and for the events of this turn:

• Jolly Redds passes the star 3 times. i know this is a mario kart track, but we're not playing mario kart. also they're too poor to buy the star. they eventually land on a blue space! congratulations! +6 coins!
• The Bellflowers grab a star, and then grab another one, before eventually landing on a blue space. again not rigged, i swear.
• Froggy Chairs passes by the star which happens to be right in front of them... and then lands on a red space. rip to their coins i guess.
• Blue's Clues stays put, getting 6 more coins-- enough for them to get a star! The star's right in front of them, so perhaps it'll be their's?!

and now it's time for minigame #3!!

1v3 Minigame: Guess who?
(Green vs Purple, Red, Blue)

below we have a wonderful array of characters which i just stole off google images again

this is pretty similar to battleship except its majority rule instead

• Green team members vote on which character they want, being given one vote each. The character with the majority of votes is chosen.
• The other team members try to vote on which character they think Green chose. The character with the majority of votes is chosen.

if there's a tie for the majority, i'm going to be nice to both sides and give make all tied characters the choice (e.g. if Waluigi and Yoshi both get 4 votes from Green, then gl to the other team cause they gotta get that tie too.)
As before, submit votes to a google form!

idk if i'll have it in me to draw or make a game tomorrow cause i got vaccinated and my arm is already hella sore. so uhhhh LETS SEE HOW THIS GOES.

I'm actually a little sad Saturday will be the final turn for this Mario Party esque game because of the friendly banter and the laughs it has given me.

in fact all of purple did, except for one who guessed waluigi
green team was a little too smart for that though -- literally no one picked yoshi. waluigi was very close to being picked, but

what an eventful turn. literally everyone moved which means i have to do a lot of counting.

• Jolly Redds pass the star but don't have enough to buy it, landing on a red space. im sure youll make it all back dont worry
• The Bellflowers grab a star, and then lap around a few times before finally settling on a blue space. they can buy 1 more star next turn at least, assuming they reach it
• Froggy Chairs make many laps, but cannot afford a star, and then... they land on the green space by the ramp! amazing!! they flip off the bridge with such yolo and swag that they slam into an item block and grab a star

• Blue's Clues grab a star and then land on a red space but its ok you only had like 2 coins

and for our final minigame, 2v2!

2v2 Minigame: Bootleg Uno
(Purple + Green vs. Red + Blue)

the rules are a bit more complicated

• we will be playing with a simplified deck with different colours: there are only numbers 6 - 9 (i.e. 6, 7, 8, 9) and +2s! the colours are red, green, purple, and blue. for obvious reasons.
• your job is to pick 2 cards: these are what both your team and one enemy team will start with
  (purple <-> red, green <-> blue -- so purple's cards would be all cards chosen by purple + all cards chosen by red)
• afterwards i will begin playing uno: the team who has the fewest cards in the end wins for their pair (e.g. if purple has the fewest, both purple and green win).
• i'll pick the starting card randomly, and the round will start at purple obviously and if there's any available moves, i'll pick the first one that can be played
• if a team cant play any card, then their turn gets skipped until they can
• the +2s will just give any random colour/number card pair because im too lazy to think of other things. not more +2s because i do not want to play an endless game of uno by myself like that.
